Just 5 mins from the studio you will find Mowbray Park, a lovely spot for a morning stroll and home to the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. Hendon Beach is just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk away. Getting Around: Being so centrally located, most of what Sunderland has to offer is within easy walking distance. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. There are a number of bus routes servicing the road outside the building, linking other parts of the city. There are also regular trains to Central Newcastle taking around 40 minutes. Other Things to Note: The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to make basic meals. Just bear in mind that it is kitted for 2 people. Please note you must confirm your check in time 24 hours in advance. If you are delayed by more than one hour from the agreed time, an additional charge of £10/hr will be applicable as a late check-in fee. It was filthy. The floor was disgusting. The shower did not drain. The blinds were broken. The lift was out of order for the duration of our stay. The smell of cannabis was slightly better than the smell of body odour and dirty clothes which pervaded the corridor to our room.
