Very welcoming hosts and on hand if needed for anything. The cottage is well equipped if you are planning to do some cooking and there is a local shop in the village for your essentials plus a Sainsbury's just a few minutes out of the village. Small tip, you'll need to pick up basics such as milk, bread, butter etc. on your way through and bring condiments with you (e.g. salt, pepper, cooking oil) as none of these are in the cupboard. This might be due to the current Covid restrictions. The homemade cake was a lovely gesture though. There's a great little Italian place next to the village shop which does lovely take-away food, recommend you try it!
