Beautiful spot to stay, we had a one bedroom swim out room. The room was neat, tidy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt for what we needed. We had a spa in the bathroom and we were located close to the outdoor spa. All up a lovely holiday and a njce place to get away..

This was a short one night stay until we could get into the private apartment we had booked in the same complex. This room through expedia was much more modern and well equipped. We enjoyed the large tv and 2nd tv in the master bedroom, wifi, updated kitchen, king bed, king singles in the 2nd bedroom, updated bathroom and proximity to the pool & restaurant. A great property that we highly recommend. The heated pool was not heated during our stay. The spas and lagoon pool as well as the gym were excellent.

Great accommodations for families and fantastic pools and spas. Our room was great size that for everyone comfortably with all the amenities inside. Table and coffee tables etc were sticky and needed a good wipe down but other than that, the room was sufficient. Easy check in and check out and surrounding grounds were lovely. Would stay again if in the area.

My husband and I recently stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Overall the property is very run down and needs some love. The room was dirty upon check in - benches and surfaces sticky, cup marks on coffee table (which has not been used by us during our stay) and glass door leading to balcony covered with dirt and water stains. I had mentioned this to reception staff who said they would have the room ''re-cleaned' and that they recently had employees new staff that were learning. The benches remained sticky, water marks remained and glass door was not wiped down. Plantation shutters broken throughout room, making it hard to open and close shutters. The beds are TERRIBLE. Super hard and comfortable. ''King bed'' is two twin beds pushed together and I constantly found myself stuck between the two. It can be quite loud early in the mornings and late at night - which I can get passed but please keep this in mind if you are looking for a restful weekend away. Very low privacy - unfortunately you can see directly into other guests rooms from the balcony. The restaurant staff are great. Location is also great.

Very disappointed after booking my room on line we wanted to stay in the hotel room and there was available rooms so we booked it 1 week in advance The night before we arrived they rang to say there were no hotel rooms available and they were going to give us a upgrade due to no room available My sister booked her room 3 days after I booked mine they got the hotel room Not happy Jan

Loved our stay here. Even though the place was fully booked it didnt feel like it. It wasn't overcrowded or chaotic. Great atmosphere , loved the pool. Rooms were good, bed comfy. Would definetely stay again.

Overpriced and nothing too exiting to talk about.
We Booked this over 3 months ago. When we arrived @ 4pm our room still wasn't ready. We got a room 33 no where near the pool area which we didn't realise at the time of the booking. Our room was so old and dated the front door needs painting the whole room needs an upgrade as it's dated. The kitchenette they so call was right next to the toilet and the kick boards are old and mouldy. The TV screen is 10+ years old, there was no privacy screen for our so called outdoor area as we could see everyone who was arriving and leaving. For a Whooping $3,600+ during the X-mas New year break, we would have expected something more exiting. So disappointing.

Cannot beat the pool and spas. Property upkeep around the lower units when walking around the pool looked over run and lots of weeds. But the kids had fun.

A great property with a wonderful lagoon pool. Units are spacious and clean and well equipped. Parking was a problem for the unit we were allocated. We had to cart our luggage a long way from where we could find a park. This has not been an issue in the past. We have stayed at the Oaks many times but on this occasion we were unlucky with the unit allocation and parking.

Really nice lagoon pool area. Stayed in the pool facing room with direct access. There are couple of spas and a tennis court as well, free to use. Exceeded expectations. Will stay again. p.s. BYO floaties.

We had an amazing time at Oaks Port Stephens! We loved the ease of the swim out room and felt very relaxed. There just aren’t too many dining options available as the restaurant attached to the resort is a little overpriced and food takes a long time to come out. Apart from that we had a great time and will be returning.

Restaurant experience was excellent with indoor or poolside dining. Lovely Italian inspired menu. Pool area and grounds were amazing and we enjoyed time in the pool spa. Would stay again.

despite the website stating it was a smoke free establishment, they permitted people to smoke on their balconies which then travelled up to out floor and caused us to have to lock up the room to keep the smoke out. this meant we had neither fresh air or use of our balcony
