Hi Ivy, thanks for leaving your review, sorry to hear about the traffic being an issue, unfortunately we do reside next to a major roadway and cannot help busy holiday traffic. as for the room that is purely subjective, it is a family room, perhaps next time a bigger room will be available.hope not all was bad and thanks for staying.

Hi Russel, thanks. Bathrooms floors generally are wet when the bathroom/shower is used, we do provide floor mats and ample towels. AC's have controls that you can adjust. Beds are personal preference, there is no better bed than your own at home. We keep no secret breakfast is not available and always direct guest to the 3 great cafes which are all from 100 metres to 500 metres walk from our front door.

Hi Chris , Unfortunately during your stay we experienced a power outage . It was a 43 degree day and a phase dropped from our electricity supply . We notified guests by text message immediately advising the situation and letting you know that Ausgrid had been contacted and would be repairing it ASAP.. During the 2 and a half hours the phase was down ( and while we were dealing with many other agitated and disrespectful guests - some even threw their room keys at us across the reception desk) you called reception a couple of times asking us questions we simply couldn't answer such as how much longer / have you tried this etc etc . We let you know we weren't electricians and the situation was being looked after by professionals and there was literally nothing else we could do . Our response to you wasn't rude . I hope that you never experience a blackout or electrical failure where you work and have to deal with what we did because it was absolutely appalling from some guests . Thanks .

Thanks for your brutally honest opinion Leonard, we loved having you stay with us . Beds are a personal preference - what is comfortable for you is probably not comfortable for the next person .We have several parking options - it's all on the welcome note provided to you on check in .Price isn't always an indicator of "more" sometimes I guess it's an indicator of location or facilities offered.A motor inn is typically used as an overnight stopover. We offer clean rooms, hot showers and a safe place to rest , I'm not sure what you would need a large room for, but each to their own. Take care and we wish you safe travels. Thanks again .

Hi Jo - Anne , Unfortunately we can’t do anything about our location. It’s not a secret and every map will show you we are near an intersection . We are conveniently located in town and an easy 5 minute walk to shops - cafes etc . Most guests appreciate our central location . As you were one of the last rooms booked for that night we didn’t have any choice as to where your room was located . Your comments about our staff are a little rude. I appreciate your high score though . Travel safe and take care .

Hi Rhonda, thanks for your review. We were actually fully booked on the night of the 30th October .If you assume we had vacant rooms as there were no cars parked at the front every room that is usually because many of our guests drive trucks and need to park on the street or they are corporate guests who have flown in and been dropped off by a taxi. If there were noise issues a quick call to us would have been the best and easiest thing to do and would have rectified any noise issues you had. Thanks

Hi Raymond , Firstly, we don't close reception around 5pm. Please refrain from posting lies about our Motor Inn.I can see by the messages on Expedia that while our reception was open we contacted you at 6.12 pm asking you for an approximate arrival time. We received no response. I can also see that you provided us with a landline number only as a contact . It is important to provide a mobile number as you aren't contactable on your home phone number if you are travelling. Yes, the car park was full as we were fully booked, I'm not sure what the issue is with that ? The onsite restaurant would have been open with lots of staff and people walking around to give us a call if you didn't have a phone and you couldn't see that our office was actually still open ?. I'm sorry but placing all of the blame on us in this case and posting a low score is very poor form . We attempted to contact you via the only means we had and we were definitely open around 5pm . Your review is absurd and confusing .Take care and travel safe .
