The Jungle Bell Tent is a spacious and cosy 6 meter in diameter themed glamping accommodation nestled in it's own sunny clearing looking out into beautiful woodland on a small family run woodland Glampsite. Looking out into the ancient woodland and surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the North Wessex Downs AONB The Jungle Bell tent offers everything you need for a comfortable glamping stay, sleeping two adults in a soft double bed and up to 4 children 17 and under on fold out z beds. Whilst we offer everything you need for a self catering glamping stay including all cooking eating and washing up equipment, bedding towels tea coffee and sugar, we stay true to the camping vibe by drawing our guests outside with our private seating areas, private under cover cooking areas including gas stove and charcoal BBQ, under cover seating areas, firepits and private bathrooms with flushing loos and hot showers just a few meters away. The children can even make their own z beds which lay on the floor just like camping! there's just no need to bring any of the bedding as it's all included! The tents are completely off grid so contain a log burning stove, whistling kettle and cool box! We also provide a large fridge freezer which is shared between the 3 tents. Ice blocks are provided for the cool box. Everything on site is even drinking water so no need to bring that either! Completely dog friendly the Glampsite is set in 10 acres of beautiful private woodland to explore, make dens, spot wildlife and the children can go wild, safely roaming through the maze like paths. We also have ducks geese chickens and peacocks in the garden for the children to make friends with! Sit around the firepits at night time and toast marshmallows or go to our star gazing clearing and watch the night sky! Being in the AONB we are one of the last dark places in England with zero light pollution! There is so much to do in the area, local attractions, hiking, walking and so many dog friendly pubs ranging from under a 1 mile stroll to a 3.8 mile hike across beautiful countryside. Its been over 20 years since the LKs last visited so were looking forward to re-visiting. There are no charges to walk amongst the stones which make up the largest megalithic stone circle in the world, but there are separate charges for the museum and the Avebury Manor. The main car park is £4 for the day but not very big considering the volume of visitors Avebury sees, so if you visit we would suggest outside peak months. The purpose of the the stone circle is unknown but its believed to be a ritual complex, the site is a sacred site to the contemporary Pagans and if you are lucky on your visit you may see Druidic rites taking place.
