Nestled among the trees off the Muskegon River in eastern Newaygo County, this cozy one bedroom, one bath lakefront cottage provides stunning water views with direct water access, including two boat docks with kayaks and pedal boat. There is ample outdoor living space, boasting a waterfront deck with grill, dining table, and lounge chairs. Enjoy summer nights and cool fall evenings with the fire pit and Adirondack chairs or in the cozy living room and three seasons room with a view! Bring your own boat, jet ski, or fishing reels and enjoy outdoor living at its best on all sports, 1,380 acre Croton Dam Pond. Inside the cottage, you will find amazing views of the water from every main room. The entire cottage has been completely renovated, with every inch tastefully fashioned by a professional designer, from the subway tile and quartz counters to the sliding barn doors. The classic knotty pine walls and ceilings add to the waterfront ambience. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, a primary suite with ample closet room, and a full bath with a tile shower and luxury linens. The living room offers a queen sofa bed for children. We are located next to the Croton boat launch and 5 minutes from the Hardy launch. Snacks and groceries can be found at Gene’s Croton Market, 4 minutes away. Many highly rated restaurants are also nearby, such as Northern Trails Bar & Grill and Driftwood Bar & Grill (accessible via boat from our dock!). All Season Life On The Water Spanning 1,380 acres, opportunities for fun and excitement are seemingly endless on Croton Pond. Enjoy activities like boating, jet skiing, tubing, swimming, and fishing on the water. A public boat launch can be found on the southwestern end near the Croton Dam. Anglers tossing out a line can expect to reel in largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, walleye, and northern pike. Bed was comfy. Down by the docks needed cleaned, I was a bit disappointed with weeds, huge spider webs on the docks.no place to get in the boat or kyaks without getting in the 20' of water. The owners have great communication and work hard to give their guests the best stay possible! This cabin is in a great location for any mountain bikers wanting to do the Dragon Trail! The cabin has a secure porch area perfect for bike storage. Although we didn’t utilize them, the cabin also has great kayaks and a paddle boat. Would definitely stay again! ##### Lydia C. The cottage is much larger on the inside than I was expecting even with the images! Everything was very clean, the amenities were unexpected but very appreciated! Owners’ replies to my few questions ahead of time were prompt and courteous. No unreasonable rules. And the location was essentially perfectly located for us. And a mink hangs out under the dock! That was fun to see. Would love to come back one day. Only minor issue I had was getting properly hot water in the shower. After my girlfriend had showered and it worked I couldn’t seem to get that to work for me. Unsure if it was user error or something in the shower not working correctly. Just spent a long weekend at this delightful riverfront spot and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The cottage was gorgeous, super clean, and exuded a cozy charm that made it easy to feel right at home. Nestled along the river, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. The interior of the house was thoughtfully decorated, blending comfort with a touch of rustic elegance. The living areas were spacious and inviting, providing the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them with the scenic river as our backdrop. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. We spent hours on the deck, soaking in the tranquility of the river and watching the wildlife. The access to the river was a fantastic bonus, allowing us to enjoy activities like kayaking and fishing right from the private docks. I highly recommend this riverfront home to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy retreat.
