My family and I decided to stay at this property for its close proximity to New York and easy accessibility to the train station. I think, for us, that was the only pro about the property. Prior to check in, the host was very transparent and responsive about ALL of the rules and ensured that we agreed to all of them, which was fine, but when a problem arose after check in, I had to prompt them to respond. At check in, the beds that my family and I was going to sleep in had hair and makeup all over them, probably from the previous occupants. Once the host responded regarding the lack of cleanliness, it was corrected immediately, but for us, it was already disheartening. Additionally, the host controls the thermostat with a timer, so during the night we were sweating, the beds were hard, too many rules regarding quiet times with young families, and the unit was out of soap before the end of our trip.

#### Wonderful Apartment and Stay. After Booking and Check-In Experience Not So Great.

My family and I absolutely loved the thoughtful details and cozy, home-like atmosphere of this unit. It truly felt like a home away from home, and leaving was the hardest part! Every little necessity—whether expected or unexpected—was thoughtfully provided, and the décor was beautifully done.However, I couldn’t give a full five stars because of my experience after booking. While the stay itself was fantastic, the communication and process after booking felt unnecessarily rigid. There were many rules and instructions that should have been clearly outlined in the listing but were only shared after booking. The requirement to explicitly confirm agreement to these rules by sending a message back before receiving access information felt excessive, almost as if I were being treated like a child. For instance, after receiving clear parking instructions and where to park(including a photo of the spot), I still had to send a separate message confirming my understanding of the spot and not to park in another spot before proceeding. This level of back-and-forth was annoying and time consuming because there were no text or email sent only on the site.The process of having to send additional confirmations before receiving access info detracted from the overall experience. Maybe I'm just used to hotels where booking implies agreement to termsThat said, once we had access, our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The space itself was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

#### Lots of rules

Very nice. I would say due to the noise rule its not ideal for little ones but they were all tuckered out from the day activites and we did not have any issues. It was a long list of rules we never touch the thermostat despite being uncomfortable temperatures out of fear of tampering and the strict rules. It plenty of sleeping room but bc of the noise rule I would be cautious booking a large family.
