Personnel disponible et prévenant. Hôtel confortable situé dans un quartier historique au cachet certain et proche de la gare de Grand Central, accessible en métro et proche de la sortie de Manhattan pour les navettes/taxis. Seul petit bémol, la salle de bain un peu vieillotte mais néanmoins suffisante! Je recommande cet hôtel!

Très bon hotel , a proximité des principaux lieux touristiques et de Grand Central. Propre, chambre spacieuse et calme.petit bémol le matelas du canapé de la chambre est a changer très rapidement car on sent énormément les ressorts. Mention spéciale à Chafik pour son amabilité, son sourire et ses conseils.

All the staff were very friendly and available. The room was very clean and everything was in order. We noticed one of the elevator was making some noise and it was fixed within a couple of days (which indicates the management is keep on top of maintenance - which is good!). The neighbourhood is quite walkable and quiet (to a New York standard) and a bus stops at the corner and will take you to Grand Central in 5 minutes. The bar/café is well provided with microwave to heat up some deli takeout food. The only annoying thing was that we could the shower next door running and the traffic in the hallway at night. Nevertheless, I would happily stay in this hotel again in the future.

Lobby, bar and common areas are much bigger in the photos than in reality, but nice anyways. Staff is helpful and listen to customers´ needs. We were given a room with a Murphy bed and feather pillow and duvet, which was a problem for me (dust and dust mite allergy), and they found another room with a real bed and hypo allergenic bedding, so the rest of our stay was very nice. They insisted that the bedding is hypo allergenic in the whole hotel, but I can confirm that it is not.

Excellent séjour au Westgate. Le bâtiment, très art déco, est bien placé, sur la légendaire 42nd Street, à deux pas des Nations Unies et du Chrysler Building, et à 5 minutes à pied du métro le plus proche (Grand Central). Les chambres sont coquettes et confortables, très propres cela va sans dire. La chambre que j'avais donnait sur une petite cour, donc sans vue, mais parfaitement au calme et loin du bruit de la ville. Le personnel est agréable et efficace. Rien à redire !

Très bel hôtel avec un emplacement parfait: Assez proche pour se rendre à la marche à plusieurs attraits touristiques dont Time square et juste assez éloigné pour ne pas être incommodés par le bruit de l’achalandage. The location was close to grand central station, close to restaurants, shopping and the staff were wonderful! The place was very nice and clean! When in New York, we plan on staying here again.

Staff was super friendly. Rooms were simple but clean, could be kept up a bit more. Location proximity to grand central was nice, but by 4th day felt farther ;). Overall the hotel did a great job of welcoming us and making our stay comfortable.

First time in NYC and chose this hotel. So glad we picked it. Easy walk to Grand Central station and other points of interest. The shower was amazing and big for a hotel shower. The service was the best though. Having a door man that would flag down a taxi in the pouring down rain and hold umbrellas was wonderful. When I make it back to NYC I will for sure stay there again.

The hotel was so old. smells in rooms because age of hotel. no service room . For money I paid it didn't worth it at all. Beds were so unconfutable with lots of squeaky noise.

Beautiful property and decent size room for NYC, only gripe was cleanliness of room, used cotton buds in bathroom and windowsill, empty body wash the entire time we were there, 2 nights, and floor not clean. Had the housekeeping not let them down I would have rated it excellent as it really is a stunning hotel. Reception and concierge staff were amazing.
