Our room was so small, we had to sidestep each other to try and move around. The photos are certainly rather misleading! My husband tried the gym, which is extremely small and the running machines were both broken - not impressive. Front office staff were great, dinner wait staff in the restaurant were excellent, but breakfast was a comedy of errors. The restaurant is probably the noisiest place I've ever eaten, tables are crammed together (we also had a young couple one foot away from us who should have got a room, embarrassing and inappropriate) and the noise level was a crescendo, it was hard to have a conversation - a Friday night crowd made worse by a drunken wedding party who turned up around 9.30pm and wandered about the restaurant shouting, all very bizarre. This hotel is in a great location but struggles with its lack of space, which makes you feel you're cheek by jowl with other guests the whole time. It made me feel rather claustrophobic - maybe for some people it wouldn't worry them, but I was conscious of it the whole time. And this was February - not the height of summer when the hotel would be full.
