They said we had a $40 room credit but did not take it off of our restaurant charge, even though I charged it to our room. That was kind of silly and a bit of a let down. The hotel was clean and quiet and had comfortable beds. The restaurant had a lovely breakfast (pricey when they don’t apply your room credit). Location is prefect for park and high end shopping and museums.

Location! Location! The hotel is located on the same block as the Carnegie Hall, a few blocks from Central Park, and the most luxurious shopping of NYC! The entire staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant has excellent food and five star service. It is an older Meridian but the room was clean and the sheets were crisp. Since I don’t go to NYC to stay inside of my room, the age of the hotel didn’t bother me at all. I would stay at this hotel again!

We had paid extra for a park view, concierge room floor. We were not given a park view room, in fact the room wasn't even on the side of the building that faced the park. And we were forced to pay an additional $100 for the concierge. When I expressed my dissatisfaction they said there was nothing they could do, but that they would refund the $100 and give us Marriott points, but they did not do so. I inquired to still request what they promised, but they have not yet responded.

Hotel was clean and we didn't hear any noise at night. Although the mattress was comfortable, I did not like the platform bed as it was very low to the ground. The phone in the room didn't work so we had to call the front desk from our cell phones. Our tv also didn't work and then it just started working again. Although there is a resort fee, they give you a $40 voucher for food and drink in the restaurant. We used it for breakfast, which was really good.

Great comfortable hotel very good quality price and great location. Checking was a breeze.Rooms are very nice and quiet.Only bummer the view of Central Park is none existent since their is a gigantic building been erected across the street… Seriously this is definitely a keeper will be back in June and August as long as the price stays in checks.

When I arrived at the hotel around 10pm, my room was freezing and after a few hours the heater still did not kick on but I was too tired to do anything about it. The shower in the morning was completely clogged and almost over flowed. I let them know the next morning and by the time I got back it was fixed. I then noticed very old pizza in the fridge that was left from a past guest. It’s a noisy neughborhood but that’s midtown for you. I needed to stay close to my office otherwise would never stay up there. Overall didn’t love my experience and will be stay elsewhere next time

Excellent location and tremendous service!
This hotel is in a great location...close proximity to Theatre District, Times Square...Central Park...Don't confuse this place with the Parker Meridien (which I did) which had been next door, and was a higher end hotel. Now that space is the Thompson, and Le Meridien now occupies the space next door. It's an older, less hip hotel than the Parker Meridien was, but it was perfectly fine. This may be a NYC standard, but we got a $40 credit to spend in the cool lounge on some yummy drinks and snacks. The best part of this stay had to be be the service we received when we had realized a wallet had been left behind in the safe. We had been checked out of the hotel for a good 5 hours when we noticed the issue. My wife called and was promptly helped by Asimina Mitilineos who found the wallet and shipped it to us a few days later. That stuff matters. Also allowing us to leave our luggage with them after checkout for as long as we wanted also matters. Many NYC hotels are now charging for that service which seems crazy...

Family stay at a junior sweet. A little tight but overall good. The tv is hard to figure out. Location is great. The people are very friendly, especially the night service attendant, bell hop and valet.

I had high hopes for my stay at Le Meridien Central Park, however, I was quite disappointed in the state of my room. I reached for a towel in the bathroom, and it was covered in grey spots. I reached for a second towel, and it had stains from makeup foundation and lipstick. There was also long strands of hair on the pillow. It was also a bit beat up, for instance, the bathroom door had considerable water damage, and a huge corner where the paint was completely gone. For a hotel that is typically considered higher end, I was surprised and disappointed.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were presented with two room options: an immediate room at the back of the hotel or a room facing the front, with more light but a two-hour wait. We chose to wait for the front-facing room, expecting a better view and more light. However, to our disappointment, the front-facing room had a view of construction and no street view. During check-out, I raised this issue with the staff, and their response was essentially dismissive, citing that some guests prefer front rooms for the view and light. The problem was not the lack of a street view, but the absence of transparency regarding the construction view. If we had known, we would have preferred the immediate room at the back. Considering the cost of the hotel, I am surprised and disappointed by the staff's dismissive attitude. This was not an enjoyable way to start my 40th birthday, babymoon, and my first visit back to the city I lived in for 12 years.
