Room was nice, quiet, and with good climate control. Couch was uncomfortable making the separate room of limited use. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was fair but congested. It would have been nice to have a better cereal selection for breakfast. We had three people in our party. Two adults and a teen. The third person was handled completely separate and not acknowledged until checkout. The reservation clearly showed three and was clear at check in. I was told it was because of the way Expedia handles charges rather than a mix-up by the hotel.

Everything we planned to do for the most part was within a 10 minute walk. Broadway theaters, Times square, Pier 83 for the boat tour around Manhattan island, 50th ave. subway station which is a straight shot on "C" train to Central Park. Advice: If you are flying in and renting a car, rent it one way, there are two Hertz locations 55th st and 34th st. Otherwise you will be paying at least $55 dollars per day at a parking garage. When you leave, just rent a car one way back to the airport. Trust me, you do not want to drive in NYC traffic.
