Convenient to Penn Station and that’s why selected

Posted 15-Dec-2017
Pros: See above. Not
Cons: See above.
Location: Central location worked as needed to go both downtown and theater district
We could only book a single green room. Tried to upgrade during on line checkin. But upon arrival told none available. Room and bath rather cramped, but quiet and very clean. Good hot water for showers. Would book again but would really prefer the larger room Good experience overall and convenience to Penn Station a big plus. Very busy lobby. Tons of students groups

LOCATION at a fair price !

Posted 14-Dec-2017
Pros: It held the fine past glory & tradition of old New York, along with 3 different & fine restaurants on site;Tick-Tock, Trattoria Bianco,Butcher Steak !
Cons: I would advise that the management continue the renovations slowly as not to lose the flavor of this Grand Old New York Landmark !
Location: If you love ❤️ to walk & take public transportation, you have everything at your fingertips, you can find anything your heart 💜 desires in NYC !!!
We were extremely happy with the location, as we love ❤️ to view & taste the sites of cities all over the world on our own , at our own pace & linger & meditate over the old & New architectures these cities have to offer along with the wonderful mix of people from all nationalities which seem to embrace the American Values but continue to hold & cherish values from whence they came to this Great 👍 Country !

Great location for Times square

Posted 14-Dec-2017
Great location, price and overall satisfactory stay ! Very friendly staff and clean . The hotel is older so not like a new facility , but still nice . Smaller rooms , as can be expected in New York but still manageable . We Appreciated the convienence of the location and would return again. We got up early and spent most of our day and evenings sight seeing so this hotel was perfect for us and met our needs .

Hotel is old, but staff/location is great

Posted 13-Dec-2017
Pros: The staff. Closeness to a lot of the action.
Cons: Update the bathrooms.
The hotels is a classic old one, lots of character and the like. Close to tons of great things too. Staff we're very nice and helpful, but the rooms are so so, and the bathrooms need some serious updating.

60th Birthday

Great location easy to find. Hotel needs a little TLC in places but overall it was clean and comfortable. Rooms are slightly on smaller side but we were only in it for sleeping and showering. Shower had 2 settings hot and scalding! Other than that nothing to complain about. Very secure can’t get to elevator without a room key . Would go back again.

Second year I’ve stayed at the New Yorker for my holiday girls trip!!! The location is key, a block away from penn station, Macy’s and other NYC attractions. Staff was always friendly. The hotel lobby is beautiful and it is pretty updated and clean compared to other hotels I have stayed at in NYC. The view from our room was breath taking and the hilight of our stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone I talk to. Overall I LOVE staying at the Wyndham New Yorker and plan on booking there again for my next NYC trip!

Great location. Lobby area nice. Rooms very dated and needing refurbished. Bathroom disgusting. Overpriced for condition of rooms.

Walking distance to most Manhattan attractions!

Posted 12-Dec-2017
We loved our stay! The hotel was clean, friendly, quiet, and right in the middle of all the fun! Walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, and Penn Station for subway or train travel! Wonderful restaurants nearby as well! The room was small but, why would you want a huge room? You're in Manhattan! The room was clean and well serviced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
