This property get a deposit of 50usd when you depart but is a deposit without reimbursement… which is weird, because you pay the reservation rate and at the end you pay 50usd more. Not good, just read the small letters and also be prepared because the walls are so thin, is noisy

The location of the hotel was very convenient but lacked the proper needs to satisfy their customers. While in the room I noticed it was not as clean and did not look professionally ready for new guests. I tried turning the AC unit on and it was disconnected or not in use. I called the front desk and they advised someone would come…three hours later and it was time to check out, no one came to check on my stay or fix the issue. When I went to let the front desk know and check out from my stay, the staff did not seem to care about the issue and disregarded the matter. In the future, I will not be staying at this hotel.

My sister and I stayed at the Manhattan for 4 nights and on the first night we got the wrong type of room, not the one I had booked, we were moved the next day and we were told that we wouldn't pay for the resort fee for the first night. I was also charged for a deposit which I was told I would get back after two weeks. It has been more than two weeks and I have not received the deposit back and the resort fee for the first night.

I want to start with the staff are amazing. I had to complain that the first room I was given had a broken mirror and the shower/bathtub had a drainage problem and the reception had given me another room no problem. The second room I was given (1114) was still part of the hotel that hasn’t been renovated as the carpets specially outside the room are filthy, sink had cracks in them the bathtub drainage is working perfectly but it feels like you’re in a sinkhole as every step just sinks. The room is clean but the A/C is very loud so just turn it off. Few holes in the wall that hasn’t filled in yet but I guess it’s hard to do so when it’s covered in wallpaper.

Good location and staff but the hotel needs a big renovation. Everything is old and not maintained properly. Broken tiles in the bathroom, damaged furniture and walls. The hotel pictures are not true. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone.

The hitel is clean, and the staff was courteous. The hotel.is a bit outdated, but otherwise is great. Its location is very convenient. You can wslk yo everthing from there.

DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL. The Hotel rips off customers - taking huge "temporary fees" out of your bank account and then not returning your money. They overcharged me nearly $250 (after local fees and taxes paid) and have not returned my funds after 2 1/2 weeks and several phone calls. The accountant does not return your calls.

All I need a clean place to rest my head and this checked that box. Everything is basic, and there are nicer motel 6s. My issue is the price for this hotel is for a deluxe suite, not a basic room. I have stayed at nice hotels in the area for the same price.

There’s mold growing in the bathrooms, wallpaper falling off the walls, water damage in showers and ceilings, the thinnest walls, no hot water. The staff was very helpful but the quality of the rooms is less than adequate.

The property oversold on suites the night I book so I was downgraded from a king suite w/ balcony to a 2 double bed standard room… and the parking situation is inconvenient! Your car will have to stay in their garage until 8pm because no one is available during the day!!

Was the worst experience ever ! When we got there 2 hours after check in started they did not have a room for us. We got to New York very early in the morning and after giving them the whole day to prepare our room they did not have it. But not because it was not done by the housekeeping it was because they were overbooked and did not have rooms.Beside us there were about other 20 families fighting for the rooms. Our stay was paid in advance. Managers were so rude and not helpful . I guess they were so overwhelmed about the situation that they were not able to handle the customers, like if it was our fault. After more than 6 hours waiting for the room, they gave me one, but guess what .. they did not have keys for the rooms so if you were leaving the hotel you were depending in someone from their team to open the room anytime that you were coming back. And since the hotel was a caos we have to wait more than 20 minutes sitting on the floor at the door of my room with my husband and my kid for someone to show up to open the door !! Horrible experience, no one to complain about it like if it was not their problem. My stay was for 3 nights and I left a night earlier because after 2 nights they still did not have a key for us and different families were coming daily to check in and they still did not have rooms or keys for them either. It was really a disaster !! And forget about them refunding me the last night ! Of course I was denied for that !

Amazing central location, rooms and hallway areas are very tired. Check in was a hot mess due to volume of people vs. Staff. Every desk was manned but still a crazy wait time to check in. Lobby area was clean and renovated but the rooms were old and desperate for a revamp. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant, professional and easy to deal with. No remote in our room and when we tried to call down on multiple occasions for a new one, the call wasn’t answered. I went down and asked for a new remote and they said they would send maintenance up with one… Two hours later, still no television remote. The second remote request was responded to within 30 minutes. The toilet was very loud with every flush for almost a minute. At the end of the day, you’re paying for the location, and it was worth the rate we paid for that alone.

This hotel experience was absolutely horrible. Check in was awful and took forever, then the keycard system was down and nobody could use keycards so you had to go up to your room and wait for security to come let you in which took for over 1 hour of waiting in the hall and if you wanted to leave and come back you had to wait all over again. Then we get in the room and the Air conditioning isnt working at all, but you can open the window which is very unsafe, i am traveling with 2 toddler children. The room smelled like someone smoked cigaretts before we came in, room not clean at all, i dont know how anyone gave this hotel a good rating, it is terrible. Will never stay here again.

I checked in and the first thing they mentioned was no keycard access. So we had to inform staff whenever we wanted to get back into the room we paid for. It was troubling and incredibly inconvenient. I found a hair on the shampoo and bath soap dispensers. The secondary lock was broken as well. I would post pictures if I could and highly recommend to stay away.
