Overpriced for the kind of room. Asked for a late checkout and they wanted to charge. Woke up with some kind of bug bite on my arm and back. Looks nicer on the site than how it is and no friendliness from staff.

Unkempt and unclean (there was a hair on my bathroom wall), I’ve stayed in a lot of Brooklyn hotels and this was one of the worst. Also the coffee was like dishwater.

HORRIBLE!!! I usually check well for bed bugs but we had somewhere to be after checking in. we got back to the room late and my partner woke me up at 3am to tell me he thought he was seeing BUGS CRAWLING BY ME. turned on the lights and there clearly was an INFESTATION in the room. I took one in a cup to front desk and explained the situation and the worker cringed and said “thats disgusting” we got a new room that was seemingly okay but the actual MANAGER WAS NEVER AVAILABLE and we were only offered compensation for the one night we switched rooms. Mind you we had to carry all our things from the 5th to 2nd floor at 3am!! This is SO concerning considering the amount of family’s and CHILDREN i saw staying here. The most shocking part about this is that the room would have had to not be cleaned thoroughly for SO long for it to accumulate into the way we saw it. another big concern about this is the all the headboards in the room are made of wood, the floors are hardwood and the wallpaper was peeling everywhere. there are too many places for these things to hide, the place needs to replace all its wooden furniture and have a proper extermination done to get rid of this which I do not see them investing in given the way my situation was handled. there are many other cleaner hotels in the area with the good enough prices, no reason to stay here ever :/

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is on site parking for free but it is very tight.

Nice size room. Clean. Convenient location. Downside was cracked and leaky shower hose, threadbare towels, noisy heater and no cups in room. Note: I did not reach out to request remediation but was disappointed it wasn’t in as good shape as my last visit.

I asked to change the room 3 times during check in - each room smelled of residual cigarette smoke. My room had clogged shower that I discovered the next morning. Coffee machine (basic) K-cup - not working. No safe in the room. Each night (midnight, 2am snd around 4am) there was a truck loading/unloading action, so no sleep at all. Breakfast. Just skip it. Not even basic stuff other than bagels and coffee of questionable freshness. upon check out I asked for a folio. The young lady refused to give the print out. When I asked for her manager - she said “unavailable”. When I said “I am never coming to this hotel again”, she responded “It’s okay”. In the positive: parking on prem on “first come - fiest serve”. steer clear from this “hotel”. They took the word “crappy” to the whole new level. I wish I could take my money back.

The hotel was nice. Room was nice although the comfortor was a bit dirty on top,l. We did get a flat sheet to separate us from the comfortor. What really bothered us most is that the rooms are on a first come first served basis. If you check in late you will end up in one of their basement bedrooms near the breakfast room and elevator. During our stay there was a huge party going on. Loud music and screaming. We called front desk to report the noise at 1am. The party went on for another hour until 2am. Lack of sleep aside, I would recommend the place as long as you get one of the bedrooms that isnt on basement level.

Excellent location close to some great restaurants and 36th St. subway stop. The room itself was fine besides a very strong pot odor, but we were able to mostly air it out. Overall, it was a very baseline place to stay, but it was quiet and the bathroom was a great size. Also the microwave and fridge was a big bonus in addition to the small parking lot (we had no issues securing a spot). I think it was a little overpriced for what it is, but it was also the holiday season so par for the course.
