The bed was comfortable and the a/c kept the room nice and cold during the July NY heat. The hotel has a bar/restaurant in the lobby and it seemed to be a neighborhood hangout more than hotel guests. Not sure if this is normal for NYC, but it made it awkward at times because every table was occupied by a single person working on their laptop. The location was good, close to a lot of small parks and plenty of grocery, coffee, and dining options. The area seems to be residential for young professionals as we saw loads of people under 30 running, walking their dogs, or commuting to an exercise class.

My partner and I took a staycation at the Hoxton when our Brooklyn apartment felt unbearable with the heat wave. We were looking for something close, convenient, pet-friendly, and great to work remotely from. The Hoxton delivered in every way and more! The rooms are small but very well maintained, and featured plenty of pillows and bath amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food options at the hotel were delicious and we loved the live jazz and drinks at Jaffa. And the location is right in the heart of north Williamsburg so there are a ton more options for when you do want to leave the property. Overall we had a great stay, and a very easy time working from their common area. We’ll absolutely be back again.

Love the location -- near the metro, restaurants, shops, parks, and most of all, my son's home. Great place. The only negative is that the rooms are small, but that's New York.

It’s a nice boutique hotel but did not live up to a $600 a night expectation. Rooms small as expected but cramped for one person let alone 2. Bathroom door way to big and heavy and hits room door if left open. Lazer Wolf has great food and knowledgeable service but elevator door man or whatever he is supposed to be does not belong in a nice hotel ( or anywhere in hospitality ) and poorly reflects wildly popular Lazer Wolf. It’s my second encounter with him ( consistently unremarkable ) and still amazed that he is the face of the restaurant. Lobby bar service was fine but nothing to bring me back. The bare minimum.

The rooms are extremely small and the full bathroom is the size of the toilet area of most hotels' bathrooms. You cannot even open a bag on the floor of the room as there is no room. There is no desk or work space for your computer and the closet is an open rack on one corner of your room. The room feels like you are living inside the closet of a normal house. The front desk feels like a motel instead of a hotel. I will never return to this hotel.
