Good choice
When we arrived we found noticed from the city pasted to the door. Turned out they referred to the attic and basement occupancy and had nothing to do with the first two floors. But it was surprising to see and for a minute very off putting. But the room was perfect. Large and comfortable with cable tv and Internet. Serviced every day with shampoo etc. near subway.

The ceiling and windows needed some repairs, didn't see any ice. The room was super hot and when we called to see about changing the temp, were told only one heat control for whole building and we could open a window to cool down. Cardboard for one window and they were dirty.

The House has a vacant sign by city ordinances which was panicking.The room is in the attic. Which I had a very hard time together into. Unfortunately, i had no where else to go.a/c doesn't work well. I felt robbed of $135 for what I had.

I loved my stay. I read some of the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. Many negative reviews were about the neighborhood, I think the neighborhood is great. My only issue was there ants in the room, not a lot noticad. But overall it was a great stay.

Parking can be tricky. Shower was not working. Everything else was good. I would stay there again.

Simply AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was unable to stay since I was not given the rooms that I was told I was getting. The proprietor was unaccommodating, unreasonable, rude and overall not someone who should be in a position to deal with the public and he took my money for rooms I did not stay in and would not give it back.

Nice place It is an old house turned into a hotel We had the livingroom on the first floor. The room was clean and comfortable It is not a luxury place. It did what we needed. It was walking distance to where we needed to be. I would go back

Little House in Pretty Flatbush
This is a hidden gem for anyone looking to be near the less-famous cultural and historical sites of Brooklyn and Staten Island, or for people seeking lodging away from tourist traps in a real Brooklyn residential area (Flatbush). My attic room gave me virtually an entire floor to myself, but the narrow stairs are not suitable for people with mobility issues. Also, my bathroom was outside of my lockable room door, but nobody bothered me and I never forgot my keys. The room was big and clean, aside from a few strange smudges around light switches and doorknobs and a dead Daddy-Longlegs. Lastly, the discreet driveway took in all the loose garbage blown in off the block, but that's New York (or any urban area, really)! [Surroundings: Subway and bus routes are conveniently close, and car parking isn't as horrible as it could be. Lots of food of different ethnic varieties within a short walk.]

New hotel with kitchenette Midwood Brooklyn
The hotel is a converted house with check in via telephone and no elevator and heating central for all rooms. The room is large with Queen bed, sofa, small table and chairs. Bathroom large with combination tub/shower. You have to know the secret, by pulling underneath the faucet to get the shower to work. Bathtub is slippery, maid advised us to put towel inside. Kitchenette had a refrigerator, microwave and teakettle. Wifi and Tv were good. Supermarkets and restaurants, mostly Kosher, about a 10 minute walk away. Subway to Manhattan 4 minute walk. Maid was helpful and friendly.

There was no staff on site, no off street parking so I had to park in front of a private residence. I was not informed of any of these before I checked in or when I booked this hotel. We stayed two nights and only had enough towels for two people for one night, there was three of us . No staff came to give us fresh towels or fresh linens. The room was very hot and we had no way of controlling it as there was no control in the room. Very run down on the outside, with garbage and old toys etc. This hotel was right on the edge of a bad neighborhood. It was however convienently located to the subway. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the money at all.

Room was ok if you are away the whole day. Staying at home is not a pleasure, through the curtains and permanent blinds it is dark and a table just to sit at the Computer,and to have some food, or Play Cards is missing
