Laguardia property run down
The property was not in great shape. No free coffee in am. No room service offered. Room was not really clean, dusty, bathroom floor edges dirty, shower rod loose. I usually love Courtyards.

Perfect if you need to be close to LaGuardia. Shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Large gym with cardio and some weights. Food was OK. Staff very friendly. Older building but rooms have been refreshed and are clean and very well appointed.

Almost a very pleasant stay
My initial check-in to the hotel was the worst part of my stay. The gentleman checking me in and a female employee were began arguing about whether the gentleman was giving me accurate information regarding how my fee for parking would be billed. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. The rest of my stay was very pleasant and uneventful.

I needed a hotel close to the airport on short notice due to flight cancellation. Staff was most helpful in ensuring my stay was pleasant. Had a light meal at the lobby Bistro. Food and service was very good.

I was disappointed in the condition of this hotel given my expectations of the Courtyard brand. The room and lobby looked like they had had a makeover a few years ago, but wear was evident.

Very very loud
I was surrounded by a group of rooms with extremely loud guests. The guests were up until 4 AM both nights of my stay, shouting with screaming kids in their rooms, running up and down the hallways and banging on the connecting doors to the rooms. I know that hotel staff had called up to the rooms but felt that more could have been done. I was also not impressed by the options for food at the hotel. Overall it was fine for being near the airport but would not recommend beyond that.

Good for a one night Stay
Courtyard was a good place to stay after landing at La Guardia in the evening. We found the Hotel shuttle bus quickly and it got us there safe and sound. The room was a little small but it met our needs. The restaurant at 7:30 pm was not crowded but we had to wait 20 minutes before getting waited on. However the pizza we got was excellent. And the next day I was able to walk just 2 blocks to get to Budget Rental Car. So overall, we appreciated the services we received at Courtyard..

High Price Hotel, Motel Conditions
Traveling to NYC, worried about budget hotels. Booked with Marriott simply because our Ohio Marriott standards are high. Was sadly disappointed to first walk into a broken thermostat and 80 degree room. Turn it completely off and ignore it. Go to put drink in fridge and its warm. Go to use restroom, dirty and run down, cracks in ceilings, peeling paint etc. Go outside for a smoke, trash everywhere. Emergency, needed another night, wanted to charge even more than current rate. Chose to sleep at airport instead.

Close to the airport poor quality of property
Worst Courtyard property I have ever stayed in. Marriott needs to spend some serious money on cleaning up and renovating this property to bring it up to the standards that one would expect from Marriott. I was very disappointed in the overall condition of the property from the minute you parked the car and came through the front doors. Dirty sidewalks, entry mats, floors, walls etc.... everywhere you looked as you walked into the lobby. The place is just run down and in poor condition. The room was bad. The door rubbed and was hard to open, the carpet, wall covering and paint was dirty and damaged throughout the room. The bathroom was uninviting to be in. There was hair on the tile floor and in the bathtub/shower walls. There was no hot water to shower with both mornings we were there. This place really needs to be cleaned up and managed better. There were many things that needed attention and could be easily remedied if someone just gave a dam about taking care of them. That is just poor management and not getting things done that should be done daily to keep things clean and tidy.

Great Location! - nice place!
Love the value and location. Free Shuttle to the airport is a bonus! Short commute to downtown Manhatten. have already recommended it to a couple of friends. Next time I go to NYC, my husband and I will stay at this hotel instead of on the other side in Newark.

Had neighbors on either side of us that were loud and obnoxious until after 2am. We politely asked them to quiet down and they proceeded to get louder. Slamming doors, talking on cell phones right outside our door etc. Staff seemed unconcerned at best.

Be sure you know the difference
Only issue resulted from the phone number not being in the email from Expedia. There is a Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott both on the same street. Be sure you are contacting the correct destination. Beware, they don't know each other or share information. LaGuardia is constructing, making shuttles from cruise ships VERY confusing and tedious; adding to the situation. The shuttle driver for the Marriott was most gracious and delivered us to the correct Courtyard by Marriott destination, once discovered.

Excellent place to stay - will definitely be returning when I visit the area. Parking is a bit expensive, but your car is safe & with few other parking options, it's a necessity.

The staff in the dining area were excellent. Food was excellent also. Our first day in New York at this hotel, we were approached by a stranger as we were eating breakfast. He asked if we could help him use the computers there. He wasn't able to use them because he was not a hotel guest. We politely declined. If he wasn't a guest, why was he there harassing other guests? More security is needed. Also, check in clerk seemed irritated that I was asking so many questions about transportation options to the Classic East Concert at Citi Field. Staff should be more helpful.

Excellent Pool, Great location for LGa
This was the ideal location for an overnight for my family on our return from our holiday in Europe. Our daughters enjoyed the large pool and the airport is 5 minutes from LaGuardia Airport.

Outdoor pool was perfect after a long flight.
Good place to stay near the airport. Outdoor pool was nice and rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurant was average and over priced but that's to be expected at an airport hotel. The service was good. I arrived late at night and the front desk staff gave me an upgrade to a larger room. The shuttlle drove us to nearby restaurants which was great.

Entire hotel needs to be remodeled and updated. That said, it is close to LGA and the free shuttle ran on time.
