Hotel was adequate. We chose the location because we had an early appointment at Mount Sinai Hospital on the upper East side. However this Marriott is located east of 1st Avenue , which made it a bit of a trek back to Madison Avenue. My main complaint is that the hotel does not offer any breakfast whatsoever. There is a coffee machine in the lobby and that's it. They sell a variety of snacks in the lobby candy bars and a sandwich or two but nothing suitable for breakfast. Fortunately there is a grocery store on the corner. The HVAC unit in the room was so noisy we had to turn it off in the middle of the night. I would not choose this hotel again. It was however by New York standards fairly inexpensive.
