"This is a great location for downtown Allentown, you can walk to a lot of places. We felt safe in the neighborhood and had no problems with moving in or out of the house. The rooms are big, so there is plenty of space. It is an older home, so the steps are squeaky and there are other minor old house details. We love older homes and found it charming in many ways. There are window AC units in every room, which was nice. Only 1.5 bathrooms, so a larger group might need to plan accordingly. As...

"We enjoyed our stay in Jim Thorpe, it was however very hot. The heat did impact our trip, as walking UP the hills in 95 degree weather isn’t fun. We enjoyed the local restaurants and saw a great show at the Opera house. The only negative is the bedroom AC unit, the compressor kicks on and off all night long making for a disrupted sleep. It did cool off the room but as light sleepers it was tough. I would rate our stay a 4 out of 5, due to the AC unit."

It's nice, clean, well-appointed, and centrally located in the heart of Bethlehem near downtown and the Steel Stacks. We got to walk to our sons' house and enjoyed easy access to Easton, Allentown, and all points associated with the wedding.
