This property has everything: a great floor plan, outdoor living and the perfect location on Norris Lake. Conveniently located 10-15 minutes to Maynardville, TN and only 40 minutes to downtown Knoxville. Bubba Brews & Beach Island Marina are roughly 10-15 minutes away. The home is located in a quiet country setting in the back of the cove behind Straight Creek Boat dock in a no wake zone & the property has its own private dock for all your boating needs! Please note that our pontoon rental may be on the outside of the dock. The Space: \-We have multiple pontoon rentals available upon request. You must have a valid boaters license or be born before 1989 to operate. Please note we deliver the boat to the property & the boat can be taken out anytime during your stay, just note per our insurance, the boats are not to be taken out after dark. All Bookings must be made a week in advance to guarantee delivery. All boats must be returned with a full tank of gas to avoid additional charges. Please note we do not rent tubes but local marinas do & the boat is to be returned to the house after the rental period is over. Rates are as follows: Pontoon rental - $325 per day plus taxes & $50 insurance & taxes. \-There are also kayaks included with the rental close to the dock. Please note that we do not provide life jackets. Please be sure to return to the kayak rack at the property once finished! \-The home is located on Summer Breeze on a peaceful cove right behind Straight Creek Boat Dock in a long no wake zone that takes roughly 15-20 minutes to get out of to the main channel of the lake. Jimmy's place & Bubba Brews is about 15 minutes away by land & roughly 20-30 minutes away by water. \-The home is equipped with a spacious kitchen equipped with a standard coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge, stove, over the range microwave, & a large kitchen table! The home also includes a hot tub, weber gas grill with propane on site that we provide, Fiber WIFI, & Samsung smart tv's throughout the entire house as well as a beautiful patio area! \-There is a private dock for use w/ a swim ladder! Your trailer can be left at the property (just please note the road is tight in areas) & you can put in at Straight creek boat dock! The dock does not have power currently \-Please note, this part of the lake is considered seasonal water and although you'll have normal lake levels from May to mid to late August for the dock, past that it will not be floating. The lake levels are lowered by the TVA in the Fall and raised again in the Spring & can fluctuate year to year. Guest Access: The entire house is available & no more than 3 cars allowed at the property. Other Things to Note: \-Check in is at 5 & Check out is at 10 & you must be 25 to rent \-House includes All Linens, bath towels, pots, pans, utensils, baking sheets, etc. \-A STARTER supply of dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bathroom, & trash bags (indoor & outdoor) \-Recommended items to bring: Extra trash bags, paper products, soaps, detergents, toilet paper, beach towels for hot tubs or lake, & all personal soaps, shampoo, & conditioners. \-3 Car max limit \-No smoking or parties allowed anywhere on the property. \-We provide all firewood & propane tanks. \-There are outdoor security cameras for protection since this is a year round rental. \-Check in and out times are firm unless approved in advance. \-Nearest grocery store is Ingles which is 10-15 minutes away. \-No pets are allowed at our properties \-There is another property beside this one if you need larger groups. The view was wonderful! The house was beautiful and clean. The location was good, but the dry dock at the time we stayed was a bit disappointing with not being able to easily get into the lake for swimming. It was hard to access with the kayaks, but not impossible. It also was a tad uncomfortable to be so close to the other house with strangers, but if it was a large party at both houses, that would be a nice feature! Way way way too far inside the no wake zone IMO. Took us about 18-20 minutes each transition through the zone, which severely limits the number of times you want to take the boat out...which is why we are there. Two runs a day wastes an 1:20 of time idling through the no wake zone. There were a number of small nuisances like broken door handle, a gap in a different door that would let bugs in, chairs that had broken armrest around the firepit, a broken dock ladder etc. The dock is at the very end of the lake, so it collects floating logs and other unsightly trash debri, and is not a good environment for swimming. Over all though, a great, new-ish beautiful house and scenery. The bedding was nice, and so was the firepit area. I guess it depends on why you are at the lake, as to whether I would recommend it. If you like a pretty area to take morning walks, sit on the beauiful deck and kayak, have at it. If you want to use your boat in a fashion where you come and go a lot (lunch and dinner at least), I would skip this one. ##### Preston D. My wife and I stayed here for four nights for our 11th Anniversary, and it was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed sitting out on the big, covered patio every morning and reading as we looked out at the lake. It was also nice to enjoy the hot tub one of the nights we stayed. There is so much space, and the bathrooms and bedrooms are very nice. It sits on a great inlet on the lake, and we got to enjoy much wildlife and peace on the water. We really enjoyed our stay here! It is represented exactly as the listing. The hot tub was ready upon arrival and the house was spotless! The kitchen is stocked well, as well as any cleaning needs. The master bedroom downstairs is all we used, and the mattress was comfortable. The house beside it is really close but the houses face away from each other, so you still get privacy in the home and on the porches. The only negative for us was no place in the home to hang any clothing, other than the 2 upstairs bathroom shower rods.
