Room was very clean and comfortable. The view was incredible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room is beautiful. The view is simply stunning! Love love the view so much! However the location is at nowhere. Have quite some steps to climb to get to transportation and attractions. Speaking of stairs, there’s a bunch of it to get up and down the property to the main road, and even more to get to Jiufen Old Street. Personally I don’t mind the stairs, but I can see how people wouldn’t enjoy that. The family that owns it was very helpful and polite and the room had everything we needed. The views were stunning and their two adorable and friendly dogs, and cute and friendly cat were a joy to see around the property. The breakfast is a must while you’re there. Nothing opens super early in Jiufen so it was nice to have a beautiful vegetarian breakfast on the property before starting our day. Lots of stairs but that wasn’t a surprise as we had read other reviews prior to booking. The whole town has a lot of stairs so if you don’t do well with stairs then I wouldn’t recommend visiting Jiufen at all. Overall, our stay was great and the location was absolutely perfect for everything we needed!
