The location at the end of Jiufen Old Street is great. It rained while we were there and the hotel did feel humid and damp. Also, the bathroom is separated by a curtain, not a door. No large luggages recommended. seaview double room is downstair but really nice view. However, the neighborhood could watch you thru the window easily and "accidentally". You can enjoy the sunset by walking up slope along the road to a platform(within 5mins) with 2 stray cats. Tips: cars can't go directly to most hotels in the area. So need to walk around a bit to find them. The room we got looks like a basement and slightly damp but it lights up nicely and has a modern look. It has a window and wifi was great.
