It is common that most Hotel place their TV at sitting view height, when I for one, prefer laying in my bed to watch TV instead of sitting nearly fully upright. Putting it higher up on the wall would achieve a better viewing angle for laying in the bed to watch. The Hotel was central and convenient with plenty of restaurants and local markets for food and drink. Pubs are not a thing in Taiwan, but I would prefer a local watering hole.
