This 10th floor unit at the Southwind Towers condominium offers a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom configuration with a stunning ocean view facing east and the Mosquito Lagoon facing west. Treasure the breathtaking views from the private ocean front balcony. This nonsmoking, exclusive atmosphere provides a relaxed setting for fun with family and friends, and you may even see dolphins on the horizon. Conveniently located on New Smyrna’s “no-drive” section of the beach, this condominium offers a safe and carefree environment for you and your children. The ocean breeze can be felt from the private balcony, or you can enter the serene pool area just a few steps away, which has umbrellas, a charcoal grill and shuffleboard. Beyond that is the quiet beach where you can enjoy strolls along the coast or small beach town shops and restaurants in the historic town of New Smyrna Beach. New Smyrna beach is the second oldest town in Florida and one thing that has never changed is its charm. Quaint shops on Flagler Ave, smiling faces, and a sense of calm await you as you explore the beautiful coastline. NSB has the most biologically diverse estuary in North America. It is home to more than 400 species of birds, dolphins, manatees, alligators, turtles, and more. Located only 15 miles south of Daytona and 55 miles east of Orlando, many vacation opportunities such as the Kennedy Space Center or Orlando’s amusement parks, or you can keep it low key, as New Smyrna has everything your family needs and more. The newly renovated kitchen offers all the comforts of home with all major appliances including a refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, microwave, oven, toaster, dishwasher, and more. With granite counter tops and newer appliances including a coffee maker, cookware, kettle, utensils, dishes, and cutlery. Also, inside the unit is a full-sized washer and dryer, ironing board, and hair dryer. All linens are provided, and there is complimentary Wi-Fi and cable. With a luxurious King-sized bed with an ocean view in the master suite, two double beds in the guest room and beautiful living space, this condo offers plenty of space for your entire family. 55-inch TV in family room, 42-inch TV in Master bedroom & a 32-inch TV in guest room and Spectrum cable are included. With a formal dining area located just beyond the living room, you can enjoy memorable meals with family and friends, or just a casual breakfast at the barstools and island located in the kitchen. The master bathroom is spacious enough for two to get ready in, with a walk-in shower. The elegant décor throughout the condo will make it feel like your home away from home. Located on the south end of New Smyrna Beach, you and your family can walk to Mosquito Lagoon for boating, fishing, and canoeing, or enjoy a casual meal at JB’s Fish Camp. With Bethune Beach adjacent to Southwind, you can enjoy lounging in the silky-smooth sand, shell hunting or a bike ride on the beach without having to worry about dodging cars. Our Guest safety and comfort is of utmost importance to us and we understand that we must all adapt and accommodate. We had never been to NSB. The condo was gorgeous and just as described. The view is absolutely stunning, and we watched many thunderstorms from the balcony. It is beautiful, well equipped with all the amenities we expect. It has a great view, quiet beach, low traffic all making for a very relaxing vacation. We did have an uninvited guest, Hurricane Milton! We were secure in the unit, hurricane shutters are installed at the openings, the unit stayed comfortable and no water infiltration. We lost power for about 24 hours, and TV for a couple of days. There is an emergency generator, so elevators and emergency systems continue to work. We stayed in touch with the owners via text. Towards the end of our visit the weather cleared, surf was calm, and our favorite restaurants were open. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in spite of the 'sound and fury' and are looking forward to returning next year. ##### Tim R. Christine's condo is fully stocked and beautiful. We always bring our own beach chairs and towels but there are plenty there. This exceptional property was such a refreshing departure for properties "claiming" to be luxury or 5-star. The unit itself was pristine, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with many extras one doesn't typically find. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with whatever was needed to prepare several full meals in the unit. There were lots of beach accessories, chairs, towels, toys . . . everything generously provided and at our fingertips. The property itself is super easy-access, yet very secure with the gated entry with plenty of parking, even on the holiday weekend. The condo staff and owners were welcoming and informative and treated us like owners, even allowing us to partake in their complimentary hamburger lunch cookout for the holiday! The pool was very clean, spacious, and inviting. The BEACH was of course the star of the show, and is very quiet and peaceful being a "no-drive" section. This combined with top-notch accommodations made our getaway a win\~win! We will definitely be back! ##### Nanette E.
