They loved it and it was so fun being walking distance to all of the action and the beautiful beach. The house was so amazing - great indoor and outdoor space, with everything we needed for a memorable time. The hosts were in contact and made sure we had everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and beds are quite comfortable and towels lush. Loved the touches like beach towels, chairs and boogie boards and sand toys. If you have kids there is a pack and play and high chair. Check in was a breeze and we were even given an early check in. They do not allow late check outs due to the cleaning company schedule and they have a weird rule about no one in the house but registered guests - even for a pop in - but as long as you know that itits easy to follow the rules and the owners go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The house was better than advertised. The home was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was exactly what we were looking for as it was close to Flagler Ave and the Beach. I received easy instructions, simple check-in & even a list of local attractions. We appreciated the starter set of items because we arrived after dark & didn’t go anywhere the first night. The community is lovely with many places to walk & everyone we met was very friendly. We made use of the well stocked kitchen for a few meals & coffee every morning. We all agreed we wish we could have had a few more days on our trip to take in even more. She was so accommodating and very responsive to any questions we had. My toddler got sick on our trip and she showed true genuine concern. The house was perfect for our family of 4\. Very clean and they even left little goodies in each room! The property was perfect for our young family. We have a 2 year old and 4 year old. They enjoyed fishing, all the playgrounds and the beach area! About a 30 minute drive to Tweetsie which was perfect. We also enjoyed going into the tiny town of Newland and Linville that are just about 10 minutes up the road. I cannot recommend this home enough! It was perfect! ##### Regina G. What truly set this property apart, however, were the hosts themselves. From our initial inquiry to the moment we checked out, Debbie was the epitome of graciousness. Her genuine hospitality extended to our little one, making us feel like more than just guests; we felt like cherished friends. They even provided helpful tips on local family-friendly activities, ensuring that our vacation was not only enjoyable for us but also for our toddler. The property's location was another standout feature, providing a peaceful retreat while remaining conveniently close to local family attractions, like Grandfather Mountain. Everything was just as listed and the Lloyd’s were the nicest hosts! We hiked nearby trails and enjoyed time with friends. We would love to come back when we have more time. This can not be beat. What's better than being on Flagler? Being ten steps off of Flagler. Private, yet still in the middle of everything.
