Heated and Open for Winter! Quick Overview: Located on 18 secluded acres \- Adult Only \- Fully equipped kitchenette \- Private deck with fire pit + soaking tub \- Heating + A/C \- 15 min to Lake Hope State Park \- 30 Min drive to Hocking Hills State Park or Athens, Ohio Detail: Wildwood Dome is 450 sq ft and features a king size bed, living area and fully equipped kitchenette. Your private bathroom is located a short walk away and has a shower with rainfall shower head, toilet and sink/vanity. The spacious deck is outfitted with a BBQ grill, seating, firepit and a soaking tub. Amenities: We provide tons of extras so you can pack light. All linens/towels are provided. You will also find coffee+tea, creamer, spices, oils and condiments in the kitchen. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided in the bathroom. (An extensive list of what is provided and amenities will be sent 14 days before check in to help you pack light.) WIFI: We do have Wi-Fi (though no cell service) but we strongly encourage guests to disconnect during their stay at Rooted Domes. Here you will find a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just BE. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding forest and indulge your senses with an array of engaging activities to enhance your stay, including games, puzzles, coloring books, musical instruments, yoga mats, and much more! My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Wildwood! The dome itself was so cool and well designed. All the details were so intentional and special. The surrounding area was beautiful! So much thought and effort has gone into this amazing space. We loved watching the sunbeams twinkle on the changing leaves and listening to the rain, while listening to music and doing a jigsaw puzzle. Megan was proactive and attentive. The kitchenette was great for our meals, and we slept well. The bathroom was very comfortable and everything was a treat for the senses. Don’t forget to use less soap, the water is well-softened. The tub was a unique view of the stars and full moon. The decor was awesome full of serenity and uniqueness. We listen to tunes on the record player, played proved games, made dinner with the provided stuff in the Kitchen and cooked on the grill. The provided wood made for a great little fire. The host even came down to give us a bottle of wine since the closest store was 30’min out (we venmod her) . It was a good distance to not have to drive too far to the trails, and it was a beautiful place to relax after a long day of hiking. The outdoor bath (with included bath bubbles) was awesome, and the dome itself was full of character.
