Perfect for large families, traveling nurse, or business executive. This waterfront home has multiple areas to play or relax upstairs or downstairs. Theater style entertainment, boat dock, wrap around deck. Enjoy the pool and outdoor oasis. Bring the whole family or have a few friends over for those special occasions. This home is an entertainer's paradise. Comes with too many extras and upgrades to list. Plenty of free parking for up to 4 vehicles. Please do not touch the Pontoon boat on the property.. This is my home and not an investment or rental property. Please make sure that all guest respect the property and no damages occur. Any damages or missing items will result in loss of deposit. The home is inspected and inventory is taken after every stay. Owner will not be held liable for any loss, damages, accidents, or injuries. Primary renter assumes all risk and liability. This home is elevated and is not handicap or wheelchair accessible. Please no food or drinks in the bedrooms, on the shuffleboard, or the pool table. Please do not place any items other than pool balls on the pool table. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for helpful tips about the area. No shoes, sharp objects, glass, or smoking in the pool. Any undisclosed guest or pets at the time of booking will incur additional charges. By booking the primary renter agrees to charges for violation of the terms of rental. More than 6 guest at any time will also incur additional charges cleaning fee double the regular rate. No more than 12 total guest on the property at any time. No parties, or gatherings of more than 12 guest on the property at any time. A violation of any polices will result in immediate eviction from the property, additional charges, and a cancelation of your contract. By renting primary guest agrees to all terms. The home does have monitored exterior video surveillance including backyard pool and dock area and additional security. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I'm somewhat flexible on a few things. I have had to deal with a few bad apples is the reason for the lengthy description. Pets must be kept in crate when left and you should inquire about additional rules or restrictions before booking if you are bringing any pet. Only small to medium sized potty trained adult dogs allowed and you are responsible for damage caused by any pet with you or your guest and cleaning up pet waste before checking out. No puppies! By booking you are agreeing to all terms and polices and assume all risk and liability. I highly recommend staying here! We did 11 days and had amazing food, experienced the Slidell Mardi Gras parades, swam in the pool, played pool almost every day, and experienced many other adventures too numerous to list here not to mention hanging out in the Quarter in N’awlins, which frankly was not even necessary to call this trip a success. The house needs a manual to operate TVs, surround sound, air/heat thermostat, and pool heater. House temp was 81 upon arrival. Even after setting thermostat to 60, it would mysteriously go to 65 as if being controlled remotely. Temp in house never got below a stagnant 71; no ceiling fans in inside areas (bedroom & outside only) Downstairs 'theater' did not have any cable/DVD/Roku; completely useless. Host said it was only used for his kid's XBox. Since projector is mounted to ceiling, hooking up my nephew's PS4 was very difficult as long cords were required for HDMI and power supply. Even then, we couldn't get sound and picture quality was horrible. Insufficient lighting over shuffleboard; couldn't see to play. Pool is a kiddie pool; very shallow and not that big (picture showed basketball net for pool play but was not there.) Pool was extremely cold upon arrival. After several complaints & pool guy making adjustments, it still felt about 60-65 at most. Grill in pictures was also not available (host offered $100 towards the purchase of more suitable grill {certainly not like the rather expensive one pictured} but better than the pathetic portable one provided. Not wanting to spend my vacation assembling a grill (with no tools,) we agreed on an extra night's stay; no charge. Host should mention the train tracks that are located just across the road; very noisy, especially at night. Days after checking out, the host asks if we removed inventory (alcohol) from a mini fridge in the kitchen area. Didn't appreciate the accusation, and regretted not taking photos of 'house inventory' upon arrival & departure. Good fishing (catfish, bream, gar, turtles,) great mattresses & awesome pool table. Terrible stay overall for what we paid. Will NEVER stay there again! ##### Patricia M. We spent thanksgiving here with outlet family of 7 and had more than enough room and space. The downstairs is a super fun party room with lots of games and vibe. The owner went above and beyond with communication and helping us get settled. It is a unique house located on a quiet canal that gives access to Lake Pontchatrain. A large boat slip is available and only 1.5 miles away from the boat launch and gas. The home is close to EVERYTHING. The neighbors were very nice and overall pretty quiet. The downstairs bar area is awesome. It’s a perfect summer getaway for water sports, swimming, lounging around or whatever you want to do. We will definitely be back! ##### Leonard B.
