This stunning 3 bedroom craftsman with salt water pool and hot tub is located in the Broadmoor neighborhood in Uptown NOLA, just blocks from the Hip Freret Street. This home is super spacious with a formal living and a dining room with seating for 10 people. There are 2 tv rooms both with 60' tvs for your binge watching. The remodeled kitchen is completely stocked and opens onto the huge deck and the backyard oasis with a salt water pool, pergola and gated off street parking for up to 5 cars! This huge oasis is the perfect spot for larger groups or families! Located is a safe and secure area of NOLA and under a 10 minute uber to the World Famous French Quarter. There are 2 floors of living space with a primary bedroom (king) downstairs and 2 bedrooms (queen) upstairs. There is a full bathroom on each floor and a half bath on main floor. Every bedroom has a tv. There is also a tv room on each floor. The backyard is AMAZING! There is a large salt water pool, hot tub, a huge deck with space for 6 people dining al fresco! There is a covered lounge area next to the pool with a sectional couch. There is also gated parking for up to 4 cars and 2 more parking spots on the other side of the gate. The front porch is super southern and majestic, the perfect spot to enjoy a southern breeze with a glass of wine! Our home is a 2 minute drive or 12 minute walk to the Freret Street Restaurant & Entertainment District, one of the city's hottest neighborhoods with 8 blocks of restaurants, cafes, bars, and small businesses. New places are opening every month it seems. Broadmoor is known for its' neighborhood pride and activism, and was one of the first neighborhoods to organize and rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. The neighborhood is safe, laid back, lush with lots of trees, is a popular place for families to settle. Our home is tucked in a quiet, residential neighborhood, a block off the grand, oak-lined street of Napoleon Avenue with a 1/2 mile walking trail. One of the highlights of staying in Broadmoor is easy and quick drivability and access to all of the city's attractions. The neighborhood is very family friendly- mostly homeowners and young professional types. Large trees form a canopy over the street, and provide shade and homes for squirrels and birds. Many of the people in the blocks nearby know each other and have lived here for years. People walk their dogs, jog and ride bikes in the area all the time. It was even nicer in person than the pictures in the listing. The owners weee incredible gracious and responsive. We will definitely rent again. It's big and clean and has so much character! We loved everything from the decor to the most comfortable beds. The back yard, deck, pool and hot tub were inviting, clean and relaxing. Parking was ideal inside a locked gate, even though we felt perfectly safe. Our adult kids meet up with cousins and walked to meet them at local bars. They ubered back at night with no hassle. This was the first time we didn't go home and stay with family and we'll do it this way for now on. We're hoping to book with Heather and Stephen again this fall. ##### Joan B. This beautiful house exceeded all our expectations. We had a group of six adults for several nights. There was plenty of room. Lots of places to spread out when we wanted to and everyone commented on the comfortable beds. The backyard is divine day and night. The hosts have provided many necessities (shampoo, soaps, plenty of towels) as well as little touches such as phone chargers and snacks/drinks. They were very helpful and easy to reach when we needed them. I could go on for days. If you are considering places to stay in New Orleans take my advice and lock this one down. ##### Martha M. Our group of 8 ladies had a wonderful time- this property had plenty of space for all of us and was completely stocked with EVERYTHING you could ever need on vacation!! It is exactly as described. There is room for at least 3-4 more without feeling like you are on top of each other. The water level in the pool was down just a bit and after reaching out to the property managers they had someone there the next day to top it off. They also communicated that the guy, who was very friendly, would be out to do maintenance and lawn work, a day before he arrived. The neighbors were very friendly and the neighborhood was very safe and secure. The pool was very refreshing after long days walking Bourbon St. and the French Market. However, the home was everything we hoped for. My wife and I arrived a day before remaining family came in the following day, We were able to spread out in the multiple sitting areas and the Pool/ hot tub, and still all gather at the large dining table for family dinner and games celebrating our middle daughter’s birthday. This is a beautiful home with high-end finishes and an amazing, private pool and hot tub. In addition, the beds are very comfortable. Freret St has some real gems, including gelato that is heavenly. This was our second stay at this luxurious property. The house and pool area are gorgeous and the amenities are second to none. Hosts have thought of every detail to facilitate a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location of the property is in a quiet, secure location close to universities and wonderful restaurants in the Uptown area. Hosts are extremely responsive.
