I felt safe enough to walk the dog around the block in the neighborhood. I cannot say enough about the convenience of having the Canal St streetcar only two blocks from the home. There are few things to mention. An added convenience would be to have a tv in all bedrooms. Also, the chain in the guest bathroom toilet kept coming off. Also, the left rear burner knob on the stove doesn't work so well. Lastly, we could not find a stopper for the kitchen sink. We will definitely return and recommend others to this property. Geographically the location is close to anything you would want or need in NOLA. We drove everywhere but it is conveniently located near the cable car. The home itself is immaculate and very well appointed. It is beautifully decorated. We had six people here very comfortably. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of characters but we never felt unsafe. We never had a problem finding parking spaces. Check in and out was very easy and convenient. This was my granddaughters' first experience with Mardis Gras and it could have gone horribly with the wrong house or bad neighborhood but it was an incredible experience. ##### christina l.
