Welcome to our Victorian-styled home, tucked into the heart of Uptown. Recently updated. Big backyard & front porch overlooking our native gardens. Walkable to Freret, St Charles, and Prytania St corridors. Coffee shop, bahn mi, & freshly shucked oysters just down the street. Streetcar stops 3 blocks away. Short trip to Tulane or Loyola. Superb location to experience many of the biggest Mardi Gras parades. This is your launching pad to take in what New Orleans is all about. This home holds its original charm – clawfoot tubs with chrome fixtures, hardwood floors, tall ceilings, coal fireplaces (non-functioning) throughout, transoms, and original windows. Updated kitchen and floorplan (all bedrooms are separate, unlike traditional shotgun floorplan, converted to single-family). BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: \- 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms \- Half bath has washer and dryer \- Bedroom 1 has a king bed \- Bedroom 2 has two twins \- Bedroom 3 has a queen bed KITCHEN: \- The kitchen is complete, including an oven, gas stove, microwave, 12 cup coffee maker, french press, toaster, plenty of counter space, and all the essential cookware you will need during your stay. A great place to hang out. LIVING & DINING SPACES: \- A more formal living room in front \- Dining room with a table to easily fit 6. \- Den in the back with a larger couch and TV. ENTERTAINMENT: \- High speed internet (500+ mbps on fiber, WiFi 6) \- Front porch overlooking native garden \- Large backyard with picnic table, sitting area, and a second native garden. There is also a firepit that guests have access to. Guests provide their own wood and are responsible for their own fire safety. Guests will have sole access to the entire property.
