Getting Around: The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. Many Bywater destinations (The Country Club, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a brisk walk or a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby. Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times. This place is not super far from Frenchman St, but you'll want to cab not walk at night as you have to go thru a fairly industrial area to get to it. It is walking distance to a coffee shop, restaurants, and bakery. ##### Serena G. Everyone got some privacy with their own bedroom and bathroom in this spacious home. It's very new, beautifully decorated, and offered both "together" space in the kitchen/dining/living area as well as "separate" space in the bedrooms. The pool was indeed warm on our cool winter days there. There are a couple of coffee shops nearby and Elisabeth's restaurant on the corner with great breakfast and lunch. ##### dawn g.
