Getting Around: The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. Many Bywater destinations (The Country Club, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a brisk walk or a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby. Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times.
