A comfortable bed and clean towels were the only positive things about this room. There were no drawers to store things in, no surfaces to set suitcases on, or a closet to hang up coats and jackets. There were no cups for water, a necessity after a night on the town in New Orleans. The walls were bare and had cracks and holes in them - what could be a charming room looked like a frat house dorm room. Worst of all, the room reeked of cheap incense that was striving, to no avail, to cover up the smell of marijuana. I was very disappointed in this room, and could not wait to leave, which is a shame - this property is conveniently located to the Marigny/Bywater/Quarter and run by a friendly staff. I want to support a local business, but experiences like this make me think twice about doing so.
