Enjoy this 100-year old home with old New Orleans charm while visiting the Big Easy. Surrounded by beautiful Queen palms, this home is spacious with three independent bedrooms with two Queen beds, one full bed, with two full bathrooms. Original Antique porcelain kitchen sink and antique kitchen cabinets with some modern updates. Ample on-street parking and close to Audubon Park, Tulane, Loyola, blocks from Magazine street, and 10 minutes to the FQ. Ample on-street parking for your convenience. This home is in an urban area, on the Bus Route, and near the Port of Orleans and some sound does travel from the street and cargo ship horns. Great place to stay!

Highly recommend staying here! The house is beautifully decorated and in a great location. We came for my birthday and Mardi Gras, it was relatively close to all the uptown parades and best part was the Thoth parade! It starts 2 blocks from the house, but lines up in front so you get to experience the whole parade in the front yard, best parade experience the whole stay! It’s a great location to meet up away from the chaos and then carpool to the parades or walk together. We did that daily with some other friends who met up with us for the parades. There’s a great restaurant 2-3 blocks down the street, Frankie and Johnny’s, we went there twice it was so good! The host was thoughtful and left out snacks for us and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this house and host! We had a great time!

Good Place to stay in Uptown New Orleans

Nice place, clean, comfortable, roomy bedrooms, some good amenities (travel info & snacks), well decorated and convenient location. Couple of downsides: busy street so it is sometimes loud, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, shower control in large bathroom works but hangs out from wall & should be repaired, kitchen cabinets and sink are quite old, very small dining table (fits 2 and is located in the living room). Check in and out process was smooth and pleasant, would stay here again as the positives outweigh the small quirks.

Spacious, clean, ample parking, near restaurants, magazine, Tulane and Audubon Park

This home was fantastic and highly recommend for the value. There was ample parking for the rental, in fact we parked steps away from the entrance every day. There was 6 of us and we were quite comfortable. There are quite a few restaurants walking distances in the area. Magazine St. is a few blocks away and the street car is less than a mile away. This property is in a quiet neighborhood and felt very safe, compared to staying in the French Quarter. Highly recommend.

Very Nice!

Very Cozy, clean and comfortable home close to the Garden and uptown districts. Very responsive homeowner to questions and concerns. We really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated the complimentary coffee, tea and snacks.
