We had a great time in New Orleans. We have the downstairs apartment which looks just like the pictures on the website. It is close to the French Quarter, after driving in New Orleans traffic we decided to Uber it the rest of the time!! Facilities were good, Kitchen is lacking but he is working on it and when we asked for ANYTHING he was very responsive. Very nice feature.We stayed in an upstairs unit and the stairs are very steep and long, 14 steps, would not recommend if you have any mobility issues. The house was spotlessly clean and everything worked. It had everything that we needed, but it was shabbier than the pictures showed it to be. The neighborhood was a little sketchy and not walking distance to any restaurants or shopping. We were a bit afraid to walk around at night. But it was a short drive to the things we wanted to see and do. We never saw our host but he was very quick to respond and help. It was good value but if you are older, it is not easy getting up all those stairs with your luggage. Also, the train is noisy at night and we could hear people through the walls in other apartments.
