The neighborhood odd calm and quiet, and there is easy access to the trolley on Canal Street. It’s a long ride to the French Quarter, but you’re on a trolley—one of the enduring icons of New Orleans! The owners were very responsive, they communicated thoroughly and proactively, and they graciously accommodated a late schedule change that delayed our arrival by a week. ##### Susan M. We slept well in the king size bed and the ac kept it nice and cool. We drove and it was conveniently located to anything we wanted to do. It was as described and had a cool, historic vibe with the hardwood floors and fireplace. The neighborhood was a mix, some similar, well upkept homes and duplexes and some smaller, more run down ones all on the same street. We felt safe as my husband and I, and wouldn’t have a problem having our kids there but wouldn’t have them go outside without us. Not that there is much space that I think that would even come up. We reached late in the afternoon and he greeted us as soon as we got there and offered us to reach out to him if we needed anything during our stay.
