However, unlike a lot of shotguns, there is a hallway connecting the front and the back of the house so you don't have to walk through each room to get to the next. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern with appropriate bath products, towels, and toilet paper. We didn't cook but the kitchen was nice and modern. The fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser with great tasting filtered water. The house is located on a quiet stretch of Magazine. All in there were three couples visiting NOLA, and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfy and the dining area spacious enough to fit us all. Being right on Magazine I thought it might be noisy, but this block is mostly residential or businesses only open during the day so it was actually very quiet at night. The centralized location made it great for shopping with access to all of the stores on Magazine St. that we could handle as well as being close to the street car line to get downtown. Plenty of great restaurants too in this part of town. We visited while the city was under water restriction (due to severe weather the days before we arrived) and the owner was very gracious to have so much water for us along with coffee and creamer so we didn't have to go shopping upon arrival. Thank you! We all agreed we'd stay here again the next time we are in town, I hope the owners will have us back! ##### Dennis D.
