The house was comfortable and clean and in good proximity to everything we wanted to get to. The house is just on the edge of a semi industrial area but close enough to magazine Street that it felt pretty safe. There's a little cafe that just opened next door called Dragonfly Cafe. Great food! Also right by Turkey and the Wolf and tons of other very well known eateries. For 6 adults we were comfortable, and had plenty of room to spread out and relax when we were not out at the Essence festivities. It had everything we needed. Clean, easy to get to, close to Magazine St. with great restaurants nearby and just a short drive to the French Quarter. It was quiet with parking right in front. Unfortunately, we arrived with a live cockroach in the garage. Communication was a pain. Mid-stay logistical questions (multiple calls and texts) went unanswered for days at a time and the manager was incredibly unprofessional and rude. He tried to hit us with a few hidden fees that we had specifically asked about but went undisclosed until the very end. Then he started calling my phone nonstop even though I told him I was unavailable to discuss the matter at that time. Felt like harassment.
