one block from Burbon Street

Posted 3-Feb-2016
Pros: it appeared small from the outside but was modern on the inside and the room was extremely comfortable.
Cons: The only parking on site was valet - for a hefty daily charge. Off site parking is hard to get to because of the one way streets.
Location: Location is perfect. Not too close to Burbon St, but close enough to walk there. One block over is trolley car and u can ride it to the French markets
The hotel was right near the French quarter but without the high prices. The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Not much of a view but that was ok. Bit of a rabbit warren to get to the room but the kids made a game of it to distract themselves.Took the kids (15 + 13) to Burbon St and they weren't comfortable with the activities in that street. Too many people trying to coerce passers by into their bars or peep shows. The kids stayed very close to us during our time in Burbon St, which is unusual for them. Like both the hotel and New Orleans in general but wouldn't go anywhere near Burbon St again. Probably ok if you are single and looking ....

Pros: Price/Value, very nicely decorated hotel and spacious rooms
Cons: Needs a real restaurant for breakfast/lunch, or at least a real buffet
Excellent value, great location, parking is expensive but at least convenient and friendly valets

One block away from Bourbon Street!

Posted 4-Jan-2016
Pros: Location
Location: French Quarter
Awesome location. Walking distance to Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street, Canal Street and 2 blocks from the Canal Street streetcar stop. The staff is excellent and the rooms are more than adequate. No complaints whatsoever.

Great location

Posted 4-Jan-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Not much, without redesign.
Location: French Quarter has limitless things to do.
Nice place with friendly staff. The fitness center was a bit lacking. I would recommend paying the $10 and going next door to the Ritz-Carlton. The beds were fine. Bathrooms a little cramped, but workable. Location in the periphery of the French Quarter was ideal. And if you want a view of anything except walls when you look out the window, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great location!!!

This hotel was very clean. Staff was very professional. The location of the hotel was perfect. We were able to walk from it to the Burbon Street in 2min. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the middle of action in New Orleans. All great restaurants, French quarters, Burbon Street and many more are walking distance.

Hotel easily accessible to ding, partying, etc.

Posted 5-Dec-2015
Pros: The proximity to EVERYTHING.
Cons: The sofa beds!!!
Location: It's only 1 block off of Canal St.in the French Quarter. You can get to the best food in the world by foot and party all night, if you choose.
Everything was nice, but we happened to be there during the Bayou Classic. The hotel was filled w/party goers from the Classic; they were very loud (and we were on the 9th floor!). People were coming in at all of the wee hours laughing and talking loudly and running up and down the halls. We had a suite w/the intention that our adult son would sleep on the sofa bed. The way the sojfa was designed the sofa bed was extremely small and uncomfortable. He found just sleeping on the sofa (w/o any pillows or blankets) was more comfortable than the sofa bed.
