Wonderful hotel

Posted 11-Feb-2016
I thought the Country Inn was a wonderful hotel. It was in the business district so it was about 10 minute walk to bourbon st and French Quarter. It was nice to be away from hustle and bustle of bourbon street. Pool was very small but we did not even use it. Great breakfast in morning. Trolley about two blocks down. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel walking distance to French Quarter

Posted 8-Feb-2016
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It had a lot of character and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, bagels, cereals and fresh fruits every day. Cookies and lemon water was also available at the front desk anytime you wanted.

Better than expected

Posted 7-Feb-2016
Pros: Everything. The comfort, rustic charm that screams old New Orleans and the large clean rooms. The entire staff couldn't have been better.
Location: In the heart of the CBD, close to the French Quarter, the River Walk, and plenty of Streetcar access.
Upon Arriving I was greeted by the Valet staff who were more than helpful. My luggage was instantly put on a cart and I was shown to the front desk to register. My suite was ready early, as requested and check-in was a breeze. The hotel is a combination of seven old buildings and the facing of those buildings have been left as they were but the interior is beautifully renovated, both rustic and modern. The room was beautiful, 2 rooms, one for two scrumptiously comfortable queen beds and the other was the living room. Every request went smoothly, handled quickly and efficiently. The free Continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, home-style potatoes, fresh made waffles, and more. I will definitely stay here again.

Convenient for mixing business and pleasure

Posted 7-Feb-2016
Pros: I liked the location and the staff.
Cons: Location of TV. Different type of cutains which stay closed on their own.
Location: Very conveniently located to the French quarter and the Garden District.
The Country Inn & Suites on Magazine is very close several amenities and many wonderful restaurants. I stayed here to be close to a tradeshow that was taking place at a nearby convention hotel for about half the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My spouse joined me at the end of my business obligation period and we explored some of the local sites. It's an older building that has been converted - lacks a few amenities of more modern facilities but is very good value for the money.

Upcharges for everything

Posted 1-Feb-2016
Pros: They had a nice free breakfast which was good.
Be mindful of what the upcharges are for the room including more then 2 people staying in your room. Expedia's rate will not be the rate when you leave your stay.

It is unfortunate that your stay did not meet your expectations. The rate on all online websites covers up to two adults, children are free, as with all hotels in the city of New Orleans. I apologize if this was not made clear when you booked the hotel. We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about any stay with our hotel and hope to see you again in the future.

Lindo y bien ubicado

Posted 30-Jan-2016
