Located in the Lower Garden District, we are just steps from all the shops, restaurants and boutiques that make Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue famous. We are within walking distance to the National WWII Museum, the Morial Convention Center, the streetcar line, and we are 12 blocks from the world-famous French Quarter. Our neighborhood has a French Truck Coffee, a wonderful salon on the corner and some of the best Chinese in the city at Blue Giant located in the next block. We are located right across from the bus line.
This Victorian-era double is split down the middle with you on one side and the owners living on the other. The front two rooms of your side are bathed in natural light from the large windows and the ceilings are adorned with giant decorative medallions. Relax in the front room watching our 56-inch TV or surf the internet with our complementary Wifi at the dining room table. A print signed by renowned Louisiana artist George Rodrigue hangs in the dining room.
Through the dining room is a full kitchen where you can enjoy a cup of rich New Orleans coffee in the warmth of the morning sunshine from the large window that overlooks the seating area. It is stocked with basic cookware, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, cups, bowls, toaster and coffee maker. Coffee, tea, creamer and sweeteners are provided.
The first bedroom past the kitchen has a queen bed, ceiling fan, closet, dresser and full-length mirror.
The bathroom is in the hallway that connects the bedrooms and boasts a custom tile shower with rainfall shower, handheld shower spray and marble bench seat. We supply fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, clothes rack and lovely view of the neighboring garden. The back door leads to the small brick patio.
A washer and dryer are available in the laundry room for your convenience.

Mom and 3 teen boys--would stay here again!
When we arrived at this beautiful property I quickly decided I'd be okay to never leave. The architecture of this 1870's historical home was just stunning, and the decor was minimalistic and inviting. The house invites you in with a cozy, plant-laden porch where I enjoyed sipping coffee and watching the people pass by. You step into a living room with a couch and chair and a large TV with images so crisp you feel like the people are in the room. Next is a dining area where we had our meals and I worked from. The kitchen is the next room and was well stocked with cookware and spices, a dishwasher, toaster and single-cup coffee maker. I cooked dinner several times on the gas stove/oven and there were plenty of dishes/silverware for the four of us. The next room is a bedroom, followed by a hallway with a bathroom and shower fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, towels, wash rags, blow dryer, etc. The bathroom hallway connects the two bedrooms both with comfortable queen-sized beds, dressers, plenty of extra bedding/pillows/towels, as well as a laundry room. I was there with my son and two of his friends as his graduation gift. The three teenage boys played video games in the front room well into the night and I was undisturbed with any of their music, laughter, etc. I couldn't even hear it! The owner provides natural products for cleaning/bathing. Great location near lots of restaurants and short drive from most attractions. We felt safe & welcomed. Would stay again!
