Second lines and gatherings often spring up out of nowhere and will enhance your experience of New Orleans traditions. At times it can be noisy. This is a bustling street that hosts a large walking celebration most Sundays. It\`s filled with street vendors, food, drinks and was started years ago to celebrate New Orleans Saint\`s WINS! We encourage you to join in on the fun! There is the potential for loud noise during :) Ubers and Lyfts are highly recommended. 5 min rideshare to the French Quarter 8 min ride to Canal Street 10 min ride to the Super Dome (Who Dat) 15 min ride to the Lower Garden District (Magazine Street Shopping, St Charles Ave sightseeing) 20 min ride to the Upper Garden District (Zoo, Tulane, Loyola) A long term tenant lives on property in a private apartment on the third floor of the building. Met my family for a reunion/concert in NOLA. First time here and this property did not disappoint. It had all the New Orleans charm and enough space for all 9 of us. Within walking distance of the French Quarter and lots of charming diners and cafes within a block. Super clean and exactly as seen in the listing. The host, Hannah, was also very responsive and friendly and even let us check in a few hours early. Will definitely be back! ##### Mark and Heather S. There is plenty of space, the rental itself is for the bottom floor of the house. It was clean, nice furniture and bedding. Of note, the listing shows a pool but there was not one that we found although that didn’t mater for us because it was October. The two issues that we didn’t like were that the house faces the underpass of I-10 and sits right beside I-10, which contributes to a lot of noise. The other thing is that the neighborhood is a bit iffy if you’re traveling with a family. We had our older kids with us and the house has an alarm system, but I can’t say I felt totally comfortable with the location. It is close to the French Quarter but I did not feel safe walking from the house. Maybe when I was younger and more adventurous. ##### Maureen S. There aren’t enough words to describe how great our stay was! Covid had us thinking this trip would be impossible but the owners and property managers were amazing and super communicative. While the property is right next to the freeway, you barely notice it. It makes for quick and easy pick ups by Ubers/Lyft or a decent walk to the French qaurter.
