Treat your tastebuds to world-renowned cuisine within walking distance of this home before heading out to experience an equally as acclaimed music scene at Tipitina\`s. Be sure to take a walk down Magazine Street where you can find great shops and dining! Both bedrooms have queen mattresses and are the best place for a great nights sleep! This home is a shotgun style layout, a very traditional style for New Orleans. Please see the floor plan in the photos for a better idea of how the home is laid out. Shotgun style homes like this one have all rooms one behind the other instead of long hallways. In this home, you enter into the living room, then walk through the kitchen, past the bathroom, then into the first bedroom, then into the second bedroom. To access the second bedroom, you must walk through each room in the house, including the first bedroom. Please let us know if you have any other questions about this! You will have full access to the property with no shared spaces. I love walking up to Audubon Park and walking right by the Audubon Zoo and seeing the Giraffes. After that you can walk by the stables and then cross Magazine Street through the beautiful park. Our favorite nearby restaurants are: Clancy\`s, Patios, Bistro Daisy, Avo, Guy\`s Poboy\`s, Toast, and St. Joe\`s Bar for a blueberry mojito! Whole Foods is just a few blocks away to grab some groceries. Bad habits Barbershop is a great place to get a nice clean cut and fresh face shave or beard trim. On a hot summer day be sure to stop by Pinkberry for frozen yogurt! There is street parking available. We recommend using Uber or Lyft during your stay. The city also has public transportation such as the streetcar and buses. You can also try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. \*\* There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Do not recommend booking if you would feel the same way as you will not get a refund even though the neighborhood around the house was not as presented or described.
