Indulge in this classic New Orleans home with a 5 bedroom / 3 bathroom layout that spans two floors and 2,200 square feet. Newly renovated, you can enjoy modern amenities while still experiencing the charm of a historic home. Three blocks from the French Quarter, this location is ideal for enjoying the best parts of New Orleans. Feel secure with the private gated parking along with enclosed fence for privacy. There is construction with potential for machinery noise M-F through March 2026\. While it may not bother some, we will provide earplugs and noise machines in each room. The Space: Originally a guest house for the oldest FreeMasons Lodge in New Orleans, this house has been restored with hardwood and concrete floors throughout, repurposed wood, high ceilings, and the original doors and shutters. Walking distance to the French Quarter you can explore by foot. Not feeling adventurous? Relax in the private brick courtyard and covered patio complete with a grill and sun loungers. ● Each bedroom features a plush down comforter and down pillows to allow for a good night’s sleep ● Comfortably sleeps (2 King , 3 Queen and 1 Full) ● 3 full bathrooms ● Private heated pool and hot tub (pool only heated in colder months) ● Private brick courtyard and covered patio with grill ● Plenty of desktop areas for working remote ● Four smart TVs ● Bluetooth speaker and high speed internet ● Central AC and individual units in each room to ensure comfort ● Chef's kitchen complete with pots, pans & knives, blender, espresso machine, drip coffee maker and eclectic cookbooks ● Bath products, fresh towels, and hair dryer are provided for your convenience ● Washer/Dryer as well as iron, ironing board and steamer ● Coffee, creamer and sugar are provided Guest Access: The guests have exclusive access to the property during their stay including the private gated parking spaces. The Neighborhood: Across from an original Banksy that popped up on an abandoned building shortly after Katrina, the house is safely and conveniently located in Marigny. You will be centrally located to all New Orleans attractions and a quick 5-minute walk to the French Quarter. There, you can then take in the only riverfront views of the Mississippi River from Jackson Square, listen to jazz, and explore the local French Market. Getting Around: The area is safe to walk around and has many bustling restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. Taxis and ride shares are also a great way to get around. Distance to the following: ● French Quarter: 5 minutes by foot or 1 minute by car ● Downtown: 7 minutes by car ● WWII Museum: 11 minutes by car ● Super Dome: 11 minutes by car ● Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport: 20 minutes by car ● Convention Center: 11 minutes by car ● Tulane University: 15 minutes by car Other Things to Note: Terrific for family gatherings or to visit NOLA with friends for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, etc If you have issues with booking minimums, please reach out as I do make exceptions here. There are two security cameras on the property located at the front of house and back patio near entry door. They are recording 24/7 for security purposes. There are also 4 cameras operated by the city of New Orleans located on the street side of the house for security and are recording 24/7.
