It blends old New Orleans charm with modern comforts and amenities. Inside, it has been beautifully remodeled in 2019 with an open floor plan, modern furnishings, all new appliances, and wooden floors. The place features 14-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the apartment with natural light, and local art. This unit is 1 of 4 in a larger house. The newly renovated interior features elegant decor throughout. The fully-stocked open plan kitchen featuring all new appliances is the perfect spot to cook a delicious meal. The fast internet and smart LED TVs in all rooms allows you to relax after a long day exploring the city. There is a private balcony with seating in both the front and back of the house. Each room is thoroughly cleaned between guests, and fresh linens and toiletries are provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The Lower Garden District was built in the mid-19th century and is one of the most scenic and wealthy areas of all New Orleans. Grand, historic mansions line the streets, making it a scenic neighborhood away from the bustle of the French Quarter and perfect for strolling. Find yourself within walking distance to upscale dining, craft cocktails and rare antiques. However, there is also casual dining, local bars, and boutiques all in the area as well. Very clean and well stocked. The location is close to everything, including restaurants, shops, and the town car route. There is alot of homeless camps by the freeway, and though this home isn't far from that area, we felt very safe and far enough away that we walked to places. The location was great and literally less than 5 minute walk to the St. Charles streetcar line. We had a rental car and there was plenty of free street parking. It really felt like home every time I walked in the door. All the little details were perfect. Even had a coffee maker with coffee and bottled water in the fridge. The home was beautiful and literally a 4 minute walk from St. Charles. The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy a drink at night or do some work during the day.
