clean modern hotel within walking distance of french quarter. Some sketchy people around but they didn't bother anyone

the valet service wait was lengthy..... yes it was a very busy weekend... but we were NOT aware of the 30 min wait for our car ...IF we had been told upon check in we would have allowed more time... also our phone in our room was NOT OPERABLE communication was by walking down stairs to front desk for bath soap/ towels./COFFEE etc.
