We used to loveeeee coming to Ace as locals just to use the pool. This was our first time staying the night and totally not worth it. The bed was so uncomfortable that we drove home to go to sleep after tossing and turning for hours. And the pool situation has gotten out of hand. Lounge chairs are supposed to be for hotel guests but they also sell them to the public so all day there were no open chairs because they were “sold out”. Used to not be that way. Not to mention food and drinks are quiet pricey up there. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful and we love coming for djs on Friday/Saturday nights in The Lobby. Will be back but definitely not for the pool or to stay.

This place had more folks than a power plant working at the pool. By the way, worst pool you’ll ever go to. Too many chiefs, one told me I could sit in a pool chair then 2 hours, a bunch of drinks & food later I was told the seat was reserved and to get up by somebody completely different. I wasn’t just a dude at the pool, I was a paid guest at the hotel, a local too. Was told to get up everytime I was at the pool. Never again

Bad experience. Hotel check in staff not nice or helpful. Room itself uncomfortable. We had a large room yet one section had no light; shower pressure weak and knob difficult to use; soap smelled and we had to go buy our own; floors not carpeted; hallway carpeting scuffed up. Had high expectations for hotel and hugely disappointed. Terrible value for the price. I had also tried to coordinate a swamp tour reservation prior to registering which got totally botched. Front desk said they would make right away and did not, despite calling to remind several times. When I called back again to indicate I had made and rolled them to cancel theirs, they never did and swamp tour double booked

I've stayed at other Ace properties and this was my least favorite. The room was spacious but very dark and not particularly comfortable. One of the beds was right next to a large, noisy Smeg refrigerator that hummed loudly all night. There was no view and it was not quiet. Partying guests woke me up at 3am bounding down the hallway. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well. Also, the photo booth was down (which was another disappointment.)

Gorgeous property, great pool, terrific bar/bartender, awesome valet. Unfortunately, one specific front desk personnel wasn’t the best. I had to wait 1.5 hours after my arrival for my room to be ready, they did give me a free drink voucher, which was nice. I had to to continuously check the status because I think they forgot. I even pre checked in so I didn’t feel welcomed and I felt like I was disturbing them when I asked for basic things, which wasn’t much. Other than that I may give it another try in the future after I stay at some other places because the hotel was so nice and exquisite.
