The house was clean and provided ample seating that allowed us to be together as a family both for meals and for relaxation. Those with allergies will value the smoke free and pet free environment. Property Host, Manda, was very communicative and responsive. We rented a pontoon for the day and explored Castle Rock Lake. We love the location of this home to the Dells along with the wonderful family fun that it offers. Usually it's been in the Dells area, and most specifically the Wilderness water park resort. This time we thought we'd try a change of scenery, and this was perfect. While it may not have slides and lazy rivers, it has plenty of water options with all the available 'water toys' on the property So much more relaxing and laid back, with more direct family time. The house was perfect with the amount of relaxation space, bedrooms and bathrooms. It's also close to a couple restaurants for an evening out. On top of that, if all of that wasn't enough, there was benchmark communication with property manager/host Manda. Manda's assistance and quick responses alone gives me a reason to look at this option next year as well. It would have been great if the cleaners would have been done when we arrived. We would also have liked to have not had to go out snd buy TP. The photos do a nice job of capturing this lovely home but it is even more beautiful in person! Our group of girls were all very comfortable, plenty of seating for all, comfortable beds, VERY clean (spotless!), lots of towels and fully stocked with all amenities we could possibly need. Beautifully decorated. I would absolutely book this home again for any large group, it is very suitable for a weekend with friends and is also kid friendly. Fire pit and hot tub were a really great addition to our winter getaway. I imagine it’s even nicer in the summer, being right on the beach. Host was quick to respond and accommodating of our needs. Our extended family of 12, including 3 grandchildren ages 1,6, and 8 stayed in this beautiful home for 4 nights in July. We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and we all agreed that this one was by far the nicest! Manda, the property owner, was great to work with - responsive and kind (and patient!). The house is very large in an open concept style with three bedrooms upstairs and two below. The kitchen is very well outfitted with every conceivable (at least for us!) item. The large dining table fit our whole family comfortably. There is a large upstairs deck that fit all of us as well as an 'under deck' patio area that was perfect for our 1 year old to toddle around on. The boys enjoyed using the beautiful gas grill one night! There is also a very nice fire pit area. Manda has filled the home with numerous comfortable and convenient touches. We have never experienced a home so well stocked with any little emergency thing we might have forgotten. Everything from toothpicks to paper plates, dish soap to laundry detergent, even first aid supplies and small toiletries. Manda really outdid herself in thinking about all of the little touches that make a property 'livable'! The beach area is wonderful and huge! Our grands had a blast playing in the sand! The lake, admittedly, is small; but the water is clear and clean and there is a lovely sandy bottom. It was the perfect size for the ages our grands are. Manda provided multiple water toys and boats for us to play with and everyone enjoyed the swim dock. Even our daughter who doesn't like swimming in lakes enjoyed this one! The house is about 30 minutes from the Dells area - close enough for day trips. And there are several restaurants and a very nice grocery store within a 10 minute drive. Overall I can't rate this property high enough. It was the perfect spot for our first post-covid family trip and we appreciate all the hard work that Manda has put into making this home a comfortable, welcoming place! ##### Carol B.
