"The whole area around New Kent is full of history, but not all can boast of housing Martha Washington and hosting George as he courted her! It was a treat to be able to stay here. Marty’s Kitchen, across the street, offered tasty local dishes very reasonable priced. The only challenge we had was the location of the bathrooms. A couple of guests had to go through the room of another to get to the bathroom or go downstairs. Coffee availability was plentiful in the form of Keurigs in both floors....

"The home was amazing and we appreciated the decor and specific details that were from the 1800’s. We felt in history in the home. The bedrooms with bathrooms were amazingly decorated and the kitchen was well stocked! Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"House is great. Very quiet neighborhood. This would be the second time at this location. Would be great if we could utilize the fire place though. Overall, love this house."

"We had a really wonderful stay at this historic home. Everything was as nice in the pictures as in person and the setting and location was even more beautiful in person. The home was very clean. The sheets and towels were very nice quality and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels stocked. The kitchen has everything we needed and was very modern. We highly recommend this place!"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Lovely home with many thoughtful touches. The snack basket in the kitchen was wonderful. There were fixings for s’mores however we had rainy weather and opted not to build a fire in the fire pit. All kitchen cabinets and drawers have labels which made finding things so simple. Many beautiful plants and two porches to enjoy your morning coffee weather permitting. Very peaceful and quiet. Would love to stay again. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"Omg so much to say.. Bonnie was the best! We had the Perfect stay! Whatever we needed she was there for. The bed was also a plus! So comfy. Thanks for everything especially the hospitality! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay there! It was like staying with family."
