"A true gem of a motel. Directions were clear and easy to follow to get into our room. The room was clean and cute. It smelled wonderfully of tangerines. The shower was huge. Property felt very secure. We would definitely stay here again. "

"My son got stuck in the bathroom. I picked up the phone in the room to call the front desk, no service. I then used my cell phone to call the front desk to tell them the problem, whoever answered the phone just laid it down. I could hear talking & the door chime. I held the phone for another minute or so before I hung up. I then walked to the front desk & told the attendant the problem. He said there was a complaint about that very door the day before. The front desk attendant told maintenance but apparently they did nothing about it. The front desk attendant had to kick the door in. "

"We went to celebrate our daughters Veterinary School Graduation at MSU. We picked this property because it had all the bedrooms we needed to accommodate all seven of us. The house and property are lovely. All bedrooms were pretty large. Beds, linens were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets, extra towels, ect. no need to worry if you ran out because the laundry room was well equipped with detergent, iron, ironing board. The kitchen was huge with all the pots/pans you could need. We had a small get together with her classmates and there was plenty of room for all of us to sit around, eat. Game room with pool table was also great. The only downside was the distance to Starkville which was about half hour drive and since property is secluded at night it can get pretty dark if you're not used to it. Also the showers are a bit small if you're a very tall person. In all I would absolutely recommend this property. The owner was available with all question we had. Stephen thank you for hosting us and providing such a wonderfull home. "

"I have read mixed reviews about this property and the staff. This is a great example of being your own judge. The receptionist was extremely nice, friendly, and professional. Renovations occurring in and around the property would create some disturbance. Therefore, if you are a "BOOSHIE" and/or SELF-INDULGED person, this is not the hotel for you. I had one of the best nights of sleep in a quiet, clean room, and comfortable bed. I will definitely stay again."
